America is one of the countries with the highest number of christian population in the world, and they are most powerful and developed. This is what happens when you think you know too much, but you really have no clue what you're talking about......The same founding fathers were the ones who thought it that slavery should be abolished even though some people who were profitting from it resisted the move to end slavery.

Go and study, and stop showing your ignorance here. Do you know what caused the American civil war? Do you know why the confederates went to war against the unionists? It was because of the issue of slavery! These laws concerning treatment of slaves are clearly written in the bible, but you won't go and study to find them out by yourself.

When the settlers came to America, they were mostly fleeing persecution in Europe, and they were attacked by native indians who of course had their fears and misgivings about the new settlers. There were wars, and in war, people die. Both native indians and the settlers died in the wars, but it only became a war of survival where the settlers just happened to win the war as a result of superior weaponry. Even in the bible, Israel fought wars and conquered territories. In Africa, Nigeria very much inclusive, there were many communities who are now found in places they didn't exist hundreds of years ago because they fought wars and conquered the places where they currently occupy. Your own fore-fathers would also have at some point participated in wars where they conquered territories, so stop forming sanctimonous as if wars and conquering of territories is something exclusive to old time christians. In Islam, wars were fought and territories were conquered.
