The issue with aljazeera is the they also report what favours their own agenda, they propagates the western script of the story if it favours them and they propagates other sides when it suit them also.

Sometimes when american citizens talk I'm just amused about their cluelessness, I used to think that it is only Africans that is dullard that is why our leaders is anipulating us, I later find out that Americans are much more dullard than us the only thing is that their leaders takes care of home front but many of them really don't have understanding of atrocities their government is causing around the world. For America's excess to be checkmated effectively, it needs to start from the inside because countries like Russian and China can only do little, America is too powerful with serious collation force of NATO that controls 80% of world economy. Lol, what I have come to realise is that when it comes to lifestyle, let everybody lives their lives according to their culture morally permits them, provided it did not affect or harm others. What u think is moral in your culture may be forbidden in others and visvisa but America wants to enforce what is moral to them and immoral to others on others and they don't want to accept the what is moral to others. It is on record that Russians always come together when ever their land is under serious threat. From the days of Russian civil wars they came together to fight world war1 and during Stalin power struggle and purging they came together to fight world war2 in fact staling had to release those generals that he jailed politically and they still fought for him. It is on record that Hitler said the soviet military is a rotten Hamlet that is about to collapse, kick on the door and the whole structure will fall apart but he met the suck of his life.

While you are right on a sense he did also play the system.

The constitution says you can only rule for 2 consecutive 4 year terms so after his first 2 terms he ran as PM and put his crony in as president and guess what the so called crony Medevev or whatever his name also swaped from PM to president as Putin went from President to PM. After a term as agreed Putin ran again and back to President. And guess what Medevev went back to PM.

Will be interesting to see what he will do after this term given its the second term. Will he change the constitution or do the PM switch again.

At the end of this term he will have been in power for 20 years. As PM he was still in control as he changed the constotiokt to give the PM more power and Medevev is pretty much his crony.

African leaders hold on to power disregarding ANY constitution authority and maing it by all means. The closest any African leader got to holding on to power legally was during Obasanjo's third term bid.

The rules and constitutional laws that make Putin go in for a fourth term were set by a predecessor. So he is simply following a precedence.

No comparison to power hungry charlatans this side of the hemisphere AT ALL.
