Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi is confident his side will do ‘everything it takes’ to knock out Real Madrid in their Champions league quarter finals tie.

The Old ladies knocked out Tottenham in the previous round and were drawn against Los Blancos who overcame PSG in a repeat of last season’s finals.

Speaking to reporters after France threw away a 2-0 lead to lose their friendly 3-2 against Colombia last night,the midfielder said:

“Eliminating Real Madrid will be difficult, but Juve have everything it takes to achieve that,”

“It’s a very important game for us and a very complicated one, because they are a great side and the reigning champions of Europe.

“However, we know that we can cause them problems and we’ll do everything we can to win the first leg on home turf. We can do it.”

The former Paris Saint-Germain star joined Juve over the summer, so was not part of the Bianconeri squad that lost the Champions League Final 4-1 to Real Madrid last season.
