I'm not too familiar with this section, hope this is the right thread?
Just got this universal modem as it seems the gsm networks are going into some interesting competition. So i thought it's plug &play universal, just fix SIM and start browsing. So it's plug& play alright in the sense of drivers installation. But i put different simcards, it's saying
[720]A connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection.
Please what am i to do?

If you observed very well, this thread is for Huawei modem. We are yet to see a software that can calculate codes for ZTE MF series modem.
The only way out is direct unlock using dccrap.

Every network has its own internet profile. You have to input the right internet settings for any of the sim you which to use.

Thanks for the assistance(es). I've tried airtel, glo and mtn, i'm yet to try my etisalat sim though. I went to the settings, then network settings. Input the username, password access point. There's a portion for DNS1 and another for DNS2. I've tried nothing, then the ip address on DNS1 only, then the same ip address on both DNS1 and 2. Still no show. Hope it's nothing to do with OS, i use Windows 7basic

Do you use DNS ips for the other sims and worked?

If you didn't use the DNS ips,then input etisalat as your access point and leave your user/pass blank for your etisalat and don't put any DNS ip!
