Job Title:​ Production Manager
Location:​ Ikot Ukana, Obot Akara LGA, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
Job Type: ​Full-time (Mon - Sat), beginning in mid-April 2018


Job Summary:
As Releaf’s palm kernel oil plant Production Manager, you will be responsible for the
technical management and supervision of our production processes. This will include
ensuring that the manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. You will be
ultimately accountable for our operational efficiency and the quality of our output. We
expect that you will have deep knowledge in the production procedures. Furthermore,
you will need to show leadership ability and direct all other personnel towards
maximum performance. Decision-making and problem-solving will make up a large part
of your day.


Responsibilities:
● Planning and organising production schedules to maximize output
● Supervising and evaluating performance of production personnel (workers,
mechanic, etc.)
● Ensuring output meets quality standards
● Organising repair and maintenance of production equipment
● Determining amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
● Updating and communicating frequently with upper management to formulate
objectives and understand requirements
● Reporting all issues to Management quickly.


Qualifications:
● Education - ​Have completed an undergraduate degree, preferably in an
agriculture, manufacturing, or engineering related field
● Production Manager Experience - ​Prior experience as a Production
Manager in a food processing factory, preferably palm kernel oil
● Strong Leadership and Communication - ​Well-spoken, sharp, and critical
of others. Dominant and bold. Good written/typed communication skills
● Intangibles - ​Self-sufficient, results-oriented, proactive, diligent


Compensation:
Compensation will be paid on a monthly basis, meeting a ₦50,000 - ₦100,000 per
month salary. Salary and other benefits are negotiable.
