JMP Farms is a subsidiary of JMP Global Resources, it runs a farm of over 20 hectares in Agbor, Ika North-East LGA of Delta State Nigeria.

JMP Farms is currently recruiting to fill the positions below:

1.Job Title: Farm Manager/Supervisor

Location: Agbor, Delta State.

Position Summary
o We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager/Supervisor to join our team.
o Reporting directly to the chief executive officer, you will take full accountability for the management of day-to-day operations on the farm holdings. This is a hands-on position, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities

The farm Manager will among other things:
o Serve as the farm head on all farm holdings on the company portfolio
o Supervise the activities of the farm workers ensuring that they carry out their responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
o Attends to daily request for operational effectiveness
o Supervise cultivation activities on the farm and report directly to the CEO daily.
o Prepares daily, weekly & monthly Reports for crop management
o Advise management on cropping for fast revenue generation
o Helps to determine soil use and rotation of crops.
o Prepares Monthly Financial Report
o Supervise any ongoing project on any of our farms. (Starting with Yam, Cassava, Maize, Cucumber Cultivation on a commercial scale).
o Vast knowledge in the cultivation of multiple crops would be preferred.
o Will be required to keep-track-of and maintain our other agricultural lands that are currently not in use, thereby ensuring that it is not encroached upon.
o Supervise the animal rearing and production units of the farm.
o Will be the direct link and representative of the CEO
o We understand the importance of a constant presence at the farm especially during cultivation, so the farm supervisors’ primary purpose is to be on the farm managing the farms, ensuring that all goes well during cultivation and afterwards.
Qualifications
o B.Sc in Agriculture or Its equivalent and major in Agriculture Farm Management and Crop Production
o At least minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in similar position.
o
2.Job Title: Veterinary Doctor.

Location: Agbor, Delta State.

Duties and Responsibilities

o Examine animals to diagnose their health problems
o Diagnose and treat animals for medical conditions
o Treat and dress wounds
o Test for and vaccinate against diseases
o Advise animal owners about Feeding, general care, medical conditions, and treatments
o Prescribe medication
Requirements/Qualifications
o Candidate must be a graduate of Veterinary Medicine from a reputable university with a passion for work and must have sound clinical and non-clinical knowledge about the job.
o A minimum of three years cognate experience in general veterinary practice
