You are wrong Bro. The president just set a precedence with dire consequences. If we want to do away with religion in Nigeria lets do it completely. You can't be hounoring one religion and disrespect others Buhari is old enough to know the place of balance in a country like Nigeria
my friend the attitude of some of this religous leaders is so annoying what is the hullabalo about the president's visit all about.

Shame on you all too. That day was like every other day too. Many people including Christians, prayed nd went about their normal business, some in other sectors wnt to work too.

I see nothing wrong with what he did if that time was convinient for him,
The annoying thing he did was to restrict movement.

So assuming it was a 2wks celebration, the whole country should av been on hold huh?

Rubbish .....Buhari was invited by a governor who is christian to commission a project making it a state affair. I'm sure if the president had only come to visit Tinubu, such large security operations wouldn't have been the case. undecided

The Bishop did nt make any sense at all.

The President isnt a christian so he shouldnt be bothered abt d holiday.

The president is the president of all and must be sensitive to things like this. Moreover, a public holiday was declared by his office.
To add salt to injury, movement was restricted and diverted. Why add sorrow to people's holidays?

But we can't blame them. The president is suppose to set positive examples and not give citizens reasons to suspect him of double standard. The balance and good-will of Buhari is presently in question. He has to schedule a visit on the next available major muslim feast or come out openly to ban all forms of religious activity in Nigeria.

Shey na today u know say buhari na idiot

I wonder why some Christians leaders like playing religion together with politics .I observe this for a very long time .You hardly see a muslim leader saying something like this .come to think of it, Buhari is a Muslim and at such he has the right to travel during the period .Beside, the celebration in a real sense ended yesterday so, why are you complaining? . A good religion leader is not known for hate speech and inflammatory statement that is capable of destroying the little peace between christians and muslims .Indirectly, you are inciting your follower against the president to look as a fanatical muslim president .please be sensitive enough to choose what to say at the right time because you have followers and they are listening to what you say either good or bad and at such they should not be mislead

Remember that it was the height of lenten period and he also affected activities that day because some people didn't go for passion of christ due to traffic issues... let me ask you can Buhari make that movement during the height of ramadan?

What happens to all the passions of christ we have been going year after year? Do we see evidence of such passion in the world? I'm a Christian, and i maintain its a petty issue to be politicized

d cleric is just trying to stir unnecessary reactions and paint buhari in bad light. Is d governor of Lagos hu invited buhari to commission d bus terminus!, not a xtian? So if ds pastor needs to caution anybody, it should b d Christian governor of Lagos. He can also speak to the Tinubu who organized a colloquium or if he can't speak with him, then he shd invite Tinubu's wife, Remi, after all she is also a xtian like d governor of Lagos
GBAM!

Ignorance is the biggest problem plaguing this country. Just bait Nigerians with religious or ethnic sentiment, they get attracted fast and begin to spew illogical comments. The president cannot make state visit because it is Easter? This is even coming from a supposed religious leader. This is the reason you have the kind of scoundrel you have as leaders. You guys are too distracted by unimportant things that you forget the important ones. There seem not any hope for that country.
