Muslims are the most honest set of people you can ever come across.
I really admire their sincerity and faithfulness
That is not true. Sincerity and faithfulness is personal thing

If that man had been an atheist I wonder what the narrative would have been
Honest people are honest people, you don't need to fear any deity to know and do that which is right..
There are Muslims who would have swallowed the money and Christians who would also make short work of it,all while claiming to be God's right hand man.

The owner of the Facebook post is a professor in BUK.

Although, I have seen a few unintelligent professors but if it's true that the daft who made that post is a professor, then it's even worse than I thought. Makes the professor more stupid and a disgrace.

Bad publicity for BUK.

Meanwhile he didn't return it because he's he's Muslim, he returned it because he wanted to. Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Deists, Atheists, Panatheists, etc all return misplace money.

The driver didn't buy detergent to wash his clothes because he's a dirty Pig.

Nonsense, many people has been returning lost and found money in Nigeria without stupidly attaching religion to them. There is nothing religion about this in the first place.

Nigeria has become so sectionalized along ethinic and religious lines that even an act of decency and honesty by a taxi driver should be viewed through a religious lens. But to play a devil's advocate, I could interpret the part of the article that read: ".......the muslim driver returned them" to mean that such humanity, kindness and honesty are not words often associated with muslims and hence the writer had to specifically mention that when ever such honesty is found. I likened this to FELONS, who are usually not held in high regard as WITNESSES. So, when you decide to use one as a WITNESS who you believe is telling the truth, you have to make all kinds of pronouncements to the judge and the opposing counsel to prop up the WITNESS before you call him to the stand. I am not saying that any religion has monopoly in honesty. You do not have to belong to any religious sect to be human, honest and have common decency. I am only playing a devil's advocate just to give a different side of the argument as to why the writer thought it necessary to tell his audience that a muslim driver returned his money. To me, I do not see any reason for that. Enough said!

We have religious individuals who will choose to withhold the money or just like those of them who kill innocent people women and children in the name of religion. In fact, propaganda news can not make one religion relevant either.

Muslims can return money but they wont let women drive car or wear what they like.
Lesson learned = return money but later become suicide bomber and kill innocent people!
