How many private universities did you attend to know that people do not fail in private universities? I attended a private higher institution and I know people who failed. I have friends who schooled at igbinedion and also failed and had to write their papers in summer or whatever it is they call it. Don't just sit down somewhere and make sweeping comments over what you aren't sure of.

Sure the school has the right to defend themselves. But it still has the legal duty to maintain confidentiality. They can even sue her for defamation if her claims are wrong. But NOT release details of results without her permission. It is called legal duty of data protection or 9ja has no such basic law or enacted parliamentary act?

They could have issued a general denial statement mentioning that she withdrew on academic grounds. Releasing this result will still not quell her assertion more than a simple one above. People can still suspect that she was made to fail those subjects for refusing sex. Or those marks could easily have been adjusted had she romped with some lecturers. Whether it is true or not.

If the police or any other legally allowed law enforcement body with a court warrant had requested such details in the course of investigating a suspected criminal act, then fine.
That is one of the reasons corporate bodies have a legal department.

Exactly. When we were in school then I knew that the med surg class had only a 4 credit carry over in the entire 100l. If you failed more than one course it's automatic repeat. I think If you had up to 12 credits or more it's withdraw. ( can't remember the exact credit load for withdraw now).

I feel that credit load is enough for a withdraw. Particularly if you don't have a C in the main courses.
