This is federal government project initiated by the Goodluck Jonathan Administration... And it's been continued by Buhari administration..... The project is been headed by Babatunde Fashola as the minister for works.... Formally the deal during GEJ tenure was that state government should do federal roads and get refund buh Buhari entered he stopped state govt from continuing the project and transfer them to ministry if works |

That's one useless governor. The guy started those projects six years ago and everything has been Abandoned as far back as 2014/2015. One year to leave office, the fool wants to construct 100 fresh roads. The suffering people go through in that route is insane. Gov Ambode is just three years in office and has done x40 what this village goat couldn't do. From Sango to Ifo, and Atan to Agbara where the fool is generating insane IGR, those areas are abandoned and made to look like dustbin. Not one single project. The guy is too busy fixing empty roads in his villages in Abk. Mad man. He spent eight years only fixing Abk. I've moved most of my investment back to Lagos and done with that useless, insecure, dirty and filthy state. And I know the next gov will also go and focus on some Ijebu village and spend a other eight years there. Amosun is a fraud. Late last year, on nairaland, I vehemently opposed his request to obtain $350 million loan to finish these abandoned projects because I know more than 50% of the loan will serve as end of tenure benefit for him.
I said it is better for incoming governor to finish these projects as Amosun needs the loan badly.
These bridges have been abandoned before 2015 elections due to severe fall in oil price which drastically affects allocation to states.
The concept is good but the quality I saw at Alagbole is very poor considering the expected traffic except trucks would be disallowed on that Alagbole bridge.
I believe the incoming governor would be able to complete those projects without $350 million loan . Agbara an Industrial hub in Ogun State have very poor roads. It is a shame. Even the industrial estate at Otta need good road. I don't know how much has been spent within these few months out of the loan after settling State & National Assembly. I am not impressed by level of job whether you like it or you don't, amosun remains the best governor Ogun has ever produced. Stand to be corrected... |

Is ibikunle amosun state's allocation and IGR not higher than that of Ekiti state?
