The Director of Transport (DOT), Students Union Government (SUG) of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Comrade Keto Obi, has commended the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, for fulfilling his promise of putting street lights along the road leading to Igbariam campus of the institution.

Comrade Obi said the governor has proved that he is a man of his words, as the street lights are now fully functional.

He added that this would take care of security issues associated with the roads where the street lights were mounted.

The street lights are now functional along Igbariam junction to the University, down to Achalla. A;so,all street lights within the university campus are now functional.
