The Gombe state office of the federal government social investment programme, N-Power yesterday replied the Senator representing Gombe central senatorial district, Danjuma Goje, over his call for the programme to be scrapped.

The state N-Power office debunked the claims by the Senator that the state has no single N-Power beneficiary, describing it as "baseless and untrue".

most of these senators are useless and speak from both side of the mouth. They say one thing today and counter themselves the next minute. You say you want employment for the youth hence you support the PEACE CORPS even when its function are already being carried out by other MDAs and its creation goes against the constitution. Now you are oppose to the N-Power just because it is a Buhari initiative. Where is that employment factor you initially cried out for?
