Great AAUA,I graduated in 2007, the last I paid was 4500,increasing school fees by over 500 percent is unreasonable.

Am currently in ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY, and the premises has been surrounded by soldiers and policemen... they are currently threatening the protesting students

these ones are not protesting na .just doing notice me...when they did such in my sch..Ansu...they blocked an interstate expressway with burning tyres..Gov came.. they booed him away with police releasing teargas and rubber bullets on students..but sha at the end of the whole gra gra..sch fees dinnur still reduce..God will help Nigeria..

Although I don't support the sporadic hike in fees, but let's face the truth. N180k isn't too much for a Degree. I am sure these protesting students all use phones that cost more than N30k. Haba, 30k can't even buy a poor quality mid-range Tecno phone yet we all want to get Shell jobs and other international worthy jobs by receiving a 30k education. Same education some Nigerians spend N4m to obtain in the UK?

Even in countries where the government offer tuition free education, you still can't attend if 30k is all you've got.

However like I said, the sporadic hike is totally uncalled for. A steady rise, maybe from 30k to 45k, to 50k, 75k etc. would have made some impact.
