"Air conditioned taxi"

Is that the problem of Abuja residents? Smh.

Nigeria is a basket of shame with our stupid policy makers.
don't mind those useless people security is worst in Abuja now

During GEJ Administration police patrol was very frequent any day any time you see them it is still the same

Abuja is the FCT which automatically attracts people from all corners of Nigeria.

They must try everything possible to keep as much people out of the city and the most effective way is to make live expensive.

It's a good move. A lesson leant from the Lagos scenario.

Just look at

These jokers don't know their priorities.

I wish Bill Gates would just stay here and constantly tongue lash them.

Have you sorted out accommodation for the millions of Abuja residents.

And do they realize this will actually make life more difficult for them as fares will inevitably go up?

The mentally unstable minister of the FCT who thinks his only responsibility is to follow Buhari to and from Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport.

These clowns should just start packing their bags.
Accommodation is the least problem in Abuja. Unless you're looking for free accommodation.

This is good riddance to bad rubbish, the drivers mustn't be compelled to put on their car air conditioners and this of course is the least worries of the commuters right now.
Misplaced priority from the FCTA.

Lots of snags to manage if this is the case, the already high transport services will be again inflated, moreso you can't compare air conditioners to natural breeze.
With air conditioners working in a town public car/bus 24/7 is a very good avenue to circulate infectious respiratory diseases trapped by the air conditioner to the passengers.

Is the FCTA making provision for the Air conditioned Cars at subsidized rates? Or is it one of those useless policies they bandy around to look as if they are doing something?

so how will AC prevent road accident

bros AC can prevent road accident during rainfall...

if the glasses are rolled up, you need AC for ventilation, or else the passengers and the driver will suffocate, not only that, the wind screen of the vehicle will be blurred from inside, making the road invisible for d driver...

i hope your doubt has been cleared

Its a good idea but prices will increase meaning the poor masses won't be able to afford a taxi anymore. That is if it truly holds oh.

Are they even assisting the taxi/bus drivers with loans or leasing Programm? They want people that are managing to make a living to buy cars with Air conditions. Where are they supposed to get the money from?
