Is A "Bad Disk" Fixable? by dablazor: 11:21am On Apr 10, 2018 |
Hello, I had a notebook that crashed late last year and wouldn't come on. I gave it out recently, although I retrieved the hard drive for keeps. Today, I tried loading up the hard disk on one of my computers with a USB cable, but the computer could not detect it. Fortunately, after doing some research on the internet, I discovered an application, Minitool Partition Wizard, which detected the drive but as a "Bad Disk." I have tried the inbuilt partition recovery option of the software, but I couldn't recover or access the files. Is there a way to fix the drive or at least recover the files saved inside? Thanks. |
