FIRM TO FAST-TRACK CBN’S 80% FINANCIAL INCLUSION TARGET
Oradian, a financial inclusion company, is set to build its community of microfinance institutions, microfinance banks and Cooperative Societies in West Africa.
Through Oradian’s toolset, which includes its cloud-based core banking system (CBS) Instafin, financial institutions are enabled to grow and reach more clients with digital financial services.

EXPERTS PROJECT INFLATION RATE TO DROP TO SINGLE DIGIT IN JULY
A report by FSDH Research team has predicted Nigeria’s inflation rate to drop to single digit in July 2018, provided there is no adjustment to the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and electricity tariff, while government resolves to stop the rising crises in some parts of the country quickly.
Besides, the team expects the inflation rate to decline further to 13.49 per cent in March, mainly on account of base effect of previous year, stating that the declining inflation rate may lead to a further drop in the yields on fixed income securities, particularly at the short-end of the yield curve.

STOCK MARKET CONTINUE DOWNWARD TURN, PLUNGE BY N150 BILLION
Transactions on the equities sector of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) continued on a downturn yesterday, as more blue-chip stocks joined the league of losers causing market capitalisation to dip further by N150 billion.
Specifically, at the close of trading yesterday, 30 stocks constituted the losers’ chart led by Unilever Nigeria Plc with N4.80 to close at N55.00 per share while WAPCO followed with N3.20 kobo to close at N41.00 per share.
