Buhari Declaration: Starting Point To Realization Of Igbo Presidency 2023- APC by Nobody: 4:43pm On Apr 10, 2018
The South-East chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to seek re-election in 2019 as a starting point towards the realization of Igbo presidency.

The group stated this in a statement jointly signed on Monday by Hon. Emma Eneukwu, its National Vice Chairman South East and Hon. Hycienth Ngwu, the South East Zonal Publicity Secretary.

DAILY POST recalls that the President had declared his intention during a closed-door meeting of the National Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), earlier today in Abuja.

South-East APC, in its reaction said “this decision was in all respects, made for the best interest of the people of South East Nigeria and we happily thank God and President Buhari for this kind gesture. We believe that the actualization of the Igbo’s Presidency in 2023 has just begun with this declaration.

“We urge the good people of South East (Ndi Igbo) to avail themselves of this golden opportunity of playing into the Nigerian political mainstream by voting massively for and ensuring the re-election of President Buhari come 2019. We must not let go this opportunity.

“We equally urge the Igbos to be conscious in electing quality members into the National Assembly under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in order to benefit maximally from the APC’s zoning arrangement at that level. The era of negative and self-centered propaganda should be and is over. This time demands that our best brains should be employed to our overall advantages.

“We believe the Igbos know the consequences of being in opposition to the Federal Government in Nigeria, and doubtless to say this knowledge informed our people’s deliberate action in 2015. Granted that President Buhari was magnanimous in victory, but our voting pattern limited our robust participation.

“This certainly is the right time for us to redress and make the right move and be bold enough to always demand and ask for more. It is well with Ndi Igbo in particular and Nigerians in general.”

Buhari's support is swelling every day. I did not say don't critisize constructively. I say vote for him in 2029.

This is someone who has included Anambra State among the 13% derivation states. More money/ jobs can now come to Anambra from oil. This is just a tip of the iceberg.

I'm not speaking for the Igbos but I can categorically say the Presidency is and will never be their primary political concern.
Having the presidency have never been beneficial to any region otherwise the NE/NW should have been the best regions of Nigeria. undecided
What today's Nigeria needs is total restructuring or peaceable disintegration. So all this Igbo presidency concept is a delusional permutation

So if another Northerner beats Buhari to 2019 P.E, so SE won't get the position, seeing that North would have completed 8 years by 2023??

So you want us to vote for an incompetent man... I don't blame you though, y'all BMCs know Nigerians ain't enlightened and can be bought the Esau's way......
