The Manager of Skye Bank Abak road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Ubong Ekpe and his brother have reportedly drowned at Ibeno Beach in Akwa Ibom.

This was made known in the post shared on the Facebook page of Godslove Michael Bernard.


The siblings reportedly attended a friend’s birthday beach party on Sunday when the tragic incident happened.

Ubong Ekpe who is married with four children was said to be a Catholic faithful who worshipped with his family at St. Anthony’s Parish, Ewet Housing.

Ekpe was described as a jovial, easygoing, compassionate and a philanthropist.
