Obviously Apple has had enough of
y’all getting your iphone screen fixed
at a third-party store because the
company’s latest iOS 11.3 software
update is causing iPhone 8 devices with
the bootleg screen to stop working.

According to the Guardian, the update
was rolled out on March 29. If you
have the bootleg screen the only thing
you’ll be able to do is look at the home screen because it won’t allow you to interact with it.
The craziest part about this is that
Apple doesn’t even give you a warning that your
phone is now unusable.


“This has caused my company over
2,000 reshipments,”Aakshay
Kripalani, chief executive of repair
shop Injured Gadgets told
Motherboard.


“Customers are annoyed and it
seems like Apple is doing this to
prevent customized from doing third-
party repair.”

This nonsense update has also cost me my iPad. Can’t do anything with it as it doesn’t connect to iCloud
