There are indications that major foreign investors in the country are jittery as President Buhari declared intention to seek re-election in 2019 general Election. It's on record that Nigeria's Economy has been passing through a real struggling situation since The All Progressive Congress(APC) took over power from The People's Democratic Party(PDP) in 2015.
President Buhari On Monday during The APC National Executive Meeting in Abuja had made known his interest to try his popularity again in 2019 Presidential Race not minding calls from Major political Bigwigs in the country telling him not to seek a Second term in office considering his age. It's on Record that Buhari will be 77Yrs old in 2019.
Base on the latest political development in the country,Major Local and Foreign investors are afraid and are planning to Leave the country in event President Buhari Emerge the Flag Bearer of the Ruling Party. Their major reasons are among others includes Poor Economic policies of the Ruling Party which do not in any way favour their investments in the Country.They disclosed that ever since APC took over power,they have barely make much profit on their investment and as such they can't stand to see their investment crumble in the next four years of Buhari in Government.
