Really, but when GEJ was the president all sorts of indenting campaigns, outright insults, humiliating attacks were planned, ploted and hurled at his humble personality. He was called the oteoke drunk, his convoy stoned by commoners in katsina, he was referred to as a mad man in a gas station by a sitting governor, his wife was called a sheepopotamus by a celebrated professor and was made a national object of mockery for genuinely empathetising with the family of the kidnapped chibok girls. El-rufai himself not only assassinated the character of GEJ, he dragged his reputation through dirty press gutters and demonized anything that smelled like, looked like, or represented GEJ. And we all hailed him southerner and northerner alike, christian and Muslim. At a point, El rufai even mocked our lord Jesus Christ!( u can google this for verification).

But today our northern brothers easily get fevered and convulsive when buhari's name is included in a sentence that is not a praise and worship song, they have suddenly realised that a president should be unconditionally honoured, they get mad and angry
even at the most glaring truths about the buhari's government, they are never at ease when their supposed hero and messiah is brought under the light of scrutiny or painted in his true colours.

And all of these have got me thinking, were we(southerners) not being foolish by conspiring with the northerners to humiliate GEJ out of office? Yes Jonathan was incompetent, confused and ignorant! But is buhari any different? Yet they will not call a spade a spade! they will rather support buharis second tenure even if he is on life support, because they understand that Nigeria cannot work, they know that Nigeria is like a sinking ship, those onboard and are informed of the impending danger will simply scamper and gather things to keep them afloat when the unavoidable happens!...ARISE O southerner, for the tran-saharan wind of lies, deceit and blood-shed has began to blow.
