OAU TO PROBE PROFESSOR INVOLVED IN SEX-FOR-MARK SCANDAL
Following the audio leak of the alleged sex-for-mark conversation between Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) lecturer, Prof Richard Akindele and a yet-to-be-identified student, the Congress of University Academics has called for an investigation into the scandal.
The Chairman of the Congress Dr Niyi Sumonu has urged the university to investigate the alleged sex-for-mark scandal between the lecturer and the female student.

SACK PROVOST NOW, ADAMAWA ASSEMBLY TELLS GOV. BINDOW
The Adamawa State House of Assembly has asked the State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, to sack the Provost of the state-owned College of Education, Hong, Dr Johnson Pongri, for embezzlement and mismanagement.
The recommendation followed a voice vote at the plenary of the House on the deliberation of a report by the House Standing Committee on Rules, Business, Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions which investigated the provost.

876,000 Pupils to Benefit from School Feeding in Kastina
The Federal Government says no fewer than 876,000 primary pupils of public schools in Katsina state will benefit from its free feeding programme in the state.
This was made known by Hajiya Binta Dutsinma, the Special Adviser to Governor Bello Masari on Girl-Education in Kastina.

STUDENTS THREATEN TO MAKE ONDO UNGOVERNABLE FOR AKEREDOLU
The protesting students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba have threatened to make Ondo state ungovernable for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu if he fails to reverse their school fees.
This is coming following tuition increase at the university from N30,000 to N180,000

As to who’ll be the complainant that’s for the university to decide but it has a duty to protect the academic integrity of the institution even where the student refuses to show up.The incident discloses an offense against OAU and the Student who is herself an offender for attempted sexual gratification in return for grades.
