Lying legend, Yorubas are most favoured in OBJ government...The few Igbos there became well known because they did well...eg Soludo, Iweala and Akuinyili...

See OBJ top appointments:

"....Funsho Kupolokun was the Group Managing Director of NNPC; Rasheed Gbadamasi was the chairman of Petroleum Products Pricing and Regulatory Agency(PPPRA);Dr. Oluwole Oluleye was the secretary of PPPRA: Adebayo Sarumi was the Managing Director of Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA);Joseph Sanusi was the Governor of the Central Bank (CBN),where the proceeds of crude and petroleum products were been lodged; Kayode Naiyelu was the Accountant General of the Federation; Joseph Ajiboye was the Auditor General of the Federation. For those who may want raise eyebrows over this monopolization of the Nigerian economy by the Yoruba, Tafa Balogun was the Inspector General of Police. He would ensure that the people were rounded up and slammed into jail, while Bayo Ojo as the Minister of Justice..." Umar Farouk

I don't like Obj but you are very very unfair to him

To start with all the positions you mentioned (apart from IG Police) were not occupied by SW throughout
SW people either occupied them in first term or second term
So those powers you mentioned were wielded by other GPZ at some time under Obasanjo

Joseph Sanusi was CBN Gov in Obj's first term; Soludo was CBN Gov in Obasanjo's 2nd term
Obaseki was NNPC GMD in Obasanjo's first term, Kupolokun was in Obasanjo's 2nd term
Kanu Agabi was Obasanjo's Attorney General in Obasanjo's first term; Bayo Ojo was in Obasanjo's 2nd term
Naiyeju was Accountant General in Obasanjo's first term; Dakwambo was in Obasanj'os 2nd term
Akubueze was Auditor General in Obasanjo's first term; Ajiboye was in Obasanjo's 2nd term

However
Today people who talk about marginalisation don't regard the above as the top appointments
But to crucify Obasanjo, some positions that are not so important have suddenly become top appointments
To the best of my knowledge, it is the service Chiefs that people of SE emphasise the most now
Who occupied these under Obj - no SW perosn was Chief of Army, Navy or Air Force or CGS under Obj
He appointed Ufot Ekaete (SS) as Secretary to the federation for his entire 8 years in office

Today we know that the position is regarded as very important but you did not mention it because it does not favour your argument
Jonathan appointed Anyim (SE) as his Sec to FG, but you kept quiet about it but we no the noise made these days about it

You selected only the positions occupied by SW to present a false picture
Min of Defence was held by Danjuma under Obj, Remember?
Minister of Education was held by Osuji and later Ezekwezili (SE) under Obj
The due Process office held by Ezekwezili (SE) was very powerful under Obj
Ministry of health was under SE under Obj
Ernest Ndukwe was Chair of National Communications Commission (NCC) throughout Obajansjo's tenor

You said Soludo, Iweala and Akunyili did well. Could they have done well if they were not given any opportunity
Soludo was invited by Yaradua to consider becoming Gov Of Anambra, Did Anambra people give Soludo the opportunity to achieve that dream?
Go and read the account of the issue by Soludo himself - he is still alive. You would realise that Yaradua was truly a good man

When Soludo was CBN Gov, Iweala was Minister of Finance under Obj. So you had an Igbo woman as Minister of Finance and and Igbo man as CBN Gov at the same time

When NW and SW were without any service chiefs under Jonathan, two Igbos were service chiefs - Ihejirika (Army) and Ezeoba (Navy)

As for hauling people into jail did you remember when Jonathan used DSS to stop Lai Mohammed from going to Osun State at the time of the Gov election because he is not from that state - Marylyn Ogar was the spokesperson then
Jonathan said private jest could no longer carry friends of the owners
Jonathan stopped APC members from visiting Ekiti State while PDP members took over
Infact Oshiomole plane took off in Benin and was asked to turn back. It could not go to Ekiti. If Buhari tried it today, you can imagine the outcry

Every president since 1999, apart from Obj, has made his tribesman Chief of Army
Who is more important IGP or CAS or CGS?
Has the police ever planned a coup? Can the police stand up to the army?
Under Jonathan, he first made and Igbo man (Ihejirika) Chief of Army and and later sacked a lot of senior officers to make Minimah (an Ijaw like him) Chief of Army

Are those things you listed zones? Did I mentione Enugu state or Ebonyi state...I am talking about SE zone..

Next>>>>

So that is the reason for no federal presence in those states
And we should talk about the marginalisation of only SE zone, when you are claiming to be the most marginalised?

WE Are Talking About Systemic Marginalisation Here Not Appointments.

Ohaneze usually use appointments to justify their claim
Hence people will focus on that
When Babachir Lawal was sacked, they specifically said Sec to FG should go to SE

Meanwhile, tell me how the SE has been systematically marginalised

Nobody says an Igala, Isoko, Ogori, Ego etc has never been president
It is always HAYOGBO

All the minorities should come together and ask whether they are Nigerians
How can a Modibo, Tunde or Emeka calculate their chances of becoming president

While an Ovie, Barem or Ocholi cannot so aspire?

THE MOST MAGINALISED REGION IN NIGERIA IS THE NIGER DELTA REGION.

This region has contributed so massively to the federal purse and it is still being drained of its oil resources by the other ethnic group.

NWODO IS WRONG TO SAY IGBOS ARE THE MOST MAGINALISED ETHNIC GROUP IN NIGERIA.

Igbos are the richest tribe in Nigeria considering the money they make in Nigeria and Overseas.

PRESIDENT OF OHATHIEF, YOU ARE NOT SAYING ANYTHING NEW OR WHAT WE ARE AWARE OF. YOU ARE PART OF THE INSTRUMENT OF MARGINALIZATION OF IGBOS. YOU SUPPORTED THE KILLING OF IBO YOUTHS IN UMUAHIA AND ABA. YOU SAID NOTHING AGAINST IT. THAT ONE SAID HE NEEDS BIAFRA IS THE REASON FOR THE PERSON TO BE EXTRA-JUDICIALLY KILLED. THE COURTS ARE THERE TO TRY AND SENTENCE THE PERSON TO ACCORDING TO THE LAW, EVEN IF IT LEADS TO DEATH, EVEN IF IT IS A KANGAROO JUDGMENT IN THE CASE SERO WIWA. YET YOU WERE THERE AND THOUSANDS OF IGBO YOUTH WERE KILLED IN COLD-BLOOD. JUST LEAVE US ALONE TO BE MARGINALIZED AND BE ENSLAVED RATHER THAN YOUR OHANTHIEF ORGANIZATION THAT IS A SCAM, IRRELEVANT AND TOOTHLESS BODY OF SELL-OUT MEN AND WOMEN, WHO THRIVE ON THE BLOOD OF THEIR FELLOW IGBO. DEAD OR ALIVE IGBOS KNOW THEIR HERO. DEAD OR ALIVE OJUKWU AND NNAMDI KANU ARE HERO AND TRUSTED IGBO LEADERS WHO GAVE THEIR ALL, INCLUDING LIFE ON IGBO FREEDOM. IBO NATION NEEDS FREEDOM, NOT RESTRUCTURING IN A CURSE NATION NOR PRESIDENCY IN A SHITHOLE. NWODO LEAVE US ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awolowo & Ahmedu Bello chooses to play regional politics but Nnamdi Azikiwe chooses United Nigeria
Aguiyi Ironsi played a politics of United Nigeria but the Northerners chooses to kill him for the crime igbos did not commit
Alex Ekwueme won the PDP primaries but the Northerners due to hatred on igbos gave Obj the tickect that doesn't stop igbos on supporting PDP

As much as i respect Zik, he's part of the reason we are where we are today (the stupid Nzeogwu coup being the major reason). While Awo and the Sadauna where busy putting their people first and playing regional politics, Zik on the other hand was busy carrying 'one Nigeria' for head, erroneously thinking he could mould a true nation out of the various disparate units.

There's this clip AIT normally shows when Zik declares he doesn't care who becomes Prime Minister after independence, that so long as Nigeria is free he'd be satisfied. I always shake my head in disappointment when it's shown.

Reason:
Igbos are the most hateful, egocentric, ignorant, confused, disingenuous and bigoted tribe in Nigeria. Unfortunately for them but fortunately for the rest of us, they are in the minority.

bullshit and nonsense... every ethnic group in Nigeria including our so called past leaders have contributed to the shit the country has become and nobody should be absolved...

Must we live together when we have spent 100 years and seen that it is not working?

We have seen that people are held back because they had to wait for others to catch up....This is wasting of talents.
Have you wondered why the easterners and even westerners are successful outside Nigeria?

and on the starving policy, tell me another thing,I have heard it countless of times...is that not the way you are told or d way you see it from your own point of view?
which is not wrong, you have d right to hold on to your own opinion.... even if what you say were true...didn't the Biafra army also committed atrocities or were they entirely innocent?
both Biafra and Nigeria committed unthinkable atrocities, yet you want to beat one side and absolve the other..
sheer hypocrisy if you ask me.
