Regulation is not an issue. Big players like MTN, Nissan, cardberry(?) Games, ShopRite, Airtel and a host of others are here and coping with the electricity deficit.

The economy of Ethiopia isn't even up to Lagos state. Lagos is roughly $96 billion dollars GDP. All of Ethiopia is 72 billion.

That's an impoverished country with no market potential. And these inferior brand called Tecno which has made lots of money in Nigerian market only to set up shop in a country like Ethiopia will still be shipping the final products to Nigeria as her market hub and cash cow.

And our minister of information is begging this brand-less, royalty-invading company to open a plant on its biggest market base. Shame!

Where is this kind of madness done if not in Nigeria where you have dumb political elites who don't know their job.
