Guy U simply trying to get rich by deceiving others into freelancing. If U have no initial skill U will never earn anything from becoming a freelancer.

You can't teach freelancing, you teach skill. Knowing how design webs, apps or graphics is what U make a freelancer, nothing else.

Bottom line.... U can't teach freelancing, go get a real job and stop trying to deceive gullible Nigerians.

Im sorry bro, u teach freelancing too.. I offer three services online and I am currently teaching one of those services. I dont like the words u used here. Can we be matured for ones here? Have u tried to know me first before lamenting here? What i offer is to teach the exact skill I offer and tips on how to go about freelancing.. Bro, u must teach both, okay! Many people dont even know freelance site to begin with. Many dont even know how to create a good profile description. I av a guy who came on board and I asked him to write a profile description.. The way he wrote it was poor. Bro, no be everyone online be fraudstar. Pls, I dont just get it.. Did u know that not everyone knows how to hide ip? Do u think na everyone sabi get details online to create freelancer acct? U think na everyone sabi verify freelance profile accounts? Bros, pls, u can make ur point without insulting anyone.

Freelancing has been amazing bro. I don't know what I would have done without freelancing becus naija na cast country. I av been able to quit ma job as CCR for more than one year now. It has not been easy but for naija no body send u o.

Second class upper from a good university, yet I couldn't land a good job. Na useless job wey won kill me I got. Thank God I had to chase freelancing badly. At least it pays me more than my job back then.

In fact, God bless those who created such platforms. I am scaling things up now and improving on my skills. I know the industry very well and still learning as I advance.

I have trained very few people though and some of them have been able to use freelancing to survive this useless country.

All thanks to freelancing jareee

If I say you don't understand English now you will blame it on your headmaster. Which other avenue offers a better way for Nigerians to earn legitimately online? Yahoo, Yahoo?
Please just shut up. If you do not know that something exists does not mean it does not exist.

Do the people doing dropshipping, they are not making money online, buy a bus and partner jumia to deliver parcel within Lagos and see the mad money local dropshippers are making online.

Go to academic research and publishing where some online publishers in this country make over N1m consistently monthly, then there are those who only proofread like editage.com. Mind you these guys are not freelancers, they have built a business around what they do and have staff they pay good salaries.

There are information marketers too who sell ebooks both locally and internationally.

Software developers nko, you think the guys at Andela are just pressing computer to look important.

Go to Yaba and see young people making mad money online and they are not freelancers.

Those are the ones I have at my finger tips right now, you think every Nigerian youth must be a freelancer and you think this website is the only resource there is out there to access knowledge.

You had better pull back and clean your eyes. There are over 50 million active Internet users in Nigeria, you think they are all online perpetuating fraud and using social media. Better wise up.

Hahahahahaha. Whatever u like, call it. Abeg, I use God beg u, come privately, I can show u part of my earnings okay and even current earning. Bro, anyone who makes 164k can still make more by sharing his or her knowledge. Some of the Top USA freelancers makes more money by offering to teach or lead others too. Learn to make more money in life no matter how much u are making. Paid knowledge is more profiting than anything else.

I want u to search for Tailopez online. Okay, that guy makes millions of dollars by teaching people what he did to make plenty money.

If u like, sit down and say u av made enough and u will not make more, that is ur own problem! Also, a client I work for actually paid for my online course. He paid for me to learn one of Tailopez courses. Bro, the course is expensive man. Me will not bring such money for any course but that client paid for that course for me to improve my skills and render the services to his father's company. He still gets to pay me for rendering the service he paid for me to learn.

What can be sweeter than that? If u doubt me, come message me, I will show u and if u are a honest person, come back here and change ur comment after that.

One thing I want to learn is the skill to sell my self. Those with such skill earn a lot. U may know a lot but if u can't market ur self out there, u may never be noticed and may earn less.

Thank u. And don't always doubt everything u see online.

Let's discuss in private bro

Why not go check the fuccking meaning of freelancing and save your self the burden of this long epistle? Here is an excerpt of wikipedia:
A freelancer or freelance worker is a term commonly used for a
person who is self-employed and is not necessarily committed to a
particular employer long-term. Freelance workers are sometimes
represented by a company or a temporary agency that resells
freelance labor to clients; others work independently or use
professional associations or websites to get work.
While the term " independent contractor " would be used in a higher
register of English to designate the tax and employment classes of
this type of worker, the term freelancing is most common in culture
and creative industries and this term specifically motions to
participation therein. [1]
Fields, professions, and industries where freelancing is predominant
include: music , writing , acting, computer programming , web design,
translating and illustrating , film and video production, and other
forms of piece work which some cultural theorists consider as central
to the cognitive-cultural economy .[2]
Freelance practices and compensation
According to the 2012 Freelance Industry Report compiled primarily
about North America freelancing, nearly half of freelancers do writing
work, with 18% of freelancers listing writing as a primary skill, 10%
editing/copy-editing, and 10% as copy-writing. 20% of freelancers
listed their primary skills as design. Next on the list was translating
(8%), web development (5.5%), and marketing (4%). [3][4]
Depending on the industry, freelance work practices vary and have
changed over time. In some industries such as consulting,
freelancers may require clients to sign written contracts. While in
journalism or writing, freelancers may work for free or do work "on
spec" to build their reputations or a relationship with a publication.
Some freelancers may provide written estimates of work and request
deposits from clients.
Payment for freelance work also depends on industry, skills, and
experience. Freelancers may charge by the day, hour, a piece rate, or
on a per-project basis. Instead of a flat rate or fee, some freelancers
have adopted a value-based pricing method based on the perceived
value of the results to the client. By custom, payment arrangements
may be upfront, percentage upfront, or upon completion. For more
complex projects, a contract may set a payment schedule based on
milestones or outcomes. One of the drawbacks of freelancing is that
there is no guaranteed payment, and the work can be highly
precarious .

How much have you made to now think you know it all to teach others for a fee?

People like u av issues. I never said I know it all. Bro, market is not by force. Uvare free to buy and u are free not to buy.

I don't like the way u are sounding! Freelancing can serve as a a side hustle and can also serve as a full term job. It has worked for some people and it has failed some people.

If I know what u don't know, I can make money from it too. That is how the world is. It is that simple. I never said I av made so much but for freelancing to keep me up and doing in this hard times in Nigeria, I am grateful and I think it is normal and right if I also sell what I av learnt so far. It is still my right to give it out for free.

So, stop acting like u know too much! U are free to chat me up and I can show u the little I earned last month and previously. I think I av screenshots of some of the payoneer transactions I made and dashboard.

Many people are simply looking for side hustle, some are looking for something to hold body and soul while some are looking for something to take them to the next level. Whichever way, freelancing may serve them well! It depends on how one runs it and one's luck too. For freelancing ti help me quit my annoying CCR job and still enable me meet my needs, pay my bills, assist my younger ones no matter how little, take care of my babe and got engaged and planned marriage, etc, I am only grateful to freelancing. If not, I would still be doing my annoying CCR job or even sacked by now. Brother, sometimes, stop this over sabi or over protection, okay! I also learn some tips from someone I met online. Till date, I never see that guy.

Guy, open your mind. You are right to exercise fear over them but open your mind to learn. I am person that is so lucky to pay for an online course just once and am not regretting it now.

I have read and read from this forum and other sites, i even learnt a lot from YouTube. I learn a lot on sitting at home and making money. I hated and still hate Lagos traffic and it's stress. I decided to 'waste' just 5k last year and it's yielding millions today. When I used to read about online money making, I run when they ask of even 1k, but last year I said, sebi it's just 5k, let me 'waste' it.

I know someone here who is not in any way a freelancer but sells this and that, make mouth on making millions but na lie, all he does is sell ebooks he claims to be using to make money as a freelancer. I laugh whenever I see his posts, thread and all. I have never even tried to post to argue his claims.

I used to say ' why charging to train when you are making millions', but now, I know better. If you don't pay to learn it, you will Never value it. I wanted to make sure my 5k no matter how small yields as much as I desire, if I had had the training for free, what price tag will I put on it?

I mentor people free, not online people, I don't have ebooks and can't begin to type pages to send when I have loads of tasks to accomplish. But when I am free and want to talk off my stress and mix with people, I call someone and mentor for free. Some I mentor free are doing well and some are just like ' after all it's free' they don't value it cos it's free.

I for one will never encourage anyone to mentor or teach people free no matter how much you are earning. Put a price, and if you are I for it, pay and learn. Besides, the guy earning 164k is still a starter. He actually admit that. My own teacher earn atleast 3k dollars monthly. I don't have to share how much I have grown to be earning monthly, but I have about three clients, two pay me weekly and one monthly. I manage my home without much stress. 10am am still on my bed, now that the kids are on holiday sha. I work when am done with house chores.

The beauty of it is, I spend just 2k on data monthly. I don't even exhaust the mb sed, though atimes I download heavily and I spend more on data, not for the job but for my own personal stuff like training and kids stuff.

Am not here to market, but I just want you to open your mind to learn from people. Send me pm a million times I won't reply cos I do not train, I will dismiss it, I don't have that time. When I mentor people around me, I scan you to see if you are a fast catch, if I see you don't catch fast I excuse you immediately. No time to waste.
Hmm, fact! Can you be my mentor?
