Overview

Our re-engineering consultancy team is seeking to hire a Supply Chain & Procurement Consultant Analyst. Candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods or services from wholesale distributors, manufacturers or other product or service providers. Candidate will also prepare, analyse and manage business data. You will optimize the SCM function, reporting performance to operational stakeholders and work with vendors to ensure return and disposition actions are met timely and accurately according to contractual terms. This position will work closely with external vendors as well as internal operations groups to ensure the SCM process is seamless, efficient and leads to reduced inventory cost, significantly reducing waste in the value chain.

Job Description

▪ Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, availability, reliability and technical support

▪ Determine the organisations need by participating in the development of specifications; studying sales record, inventory levels, replenishment cycles and product lead time; assessing supply-side market conditions.

▪ Candidate should be proficient in process writing, reports and analytics.

▪ Prepare reports on each vendor, product and service to submit for review.

▪ Reengineering of the Supply Chain Process – Process Writing, Policy Implementation, New Process flow development

▪ Develop new strategies to harmonise procurement, inventory management and logistics

▪ Manage vendor contracts and compliance

▪ Responsible for creating dashboards and reporting on KPI metrics for supply chain processes

▪ Monitor all distribution activities and ensure all delays are promptly addressed with corrective actions driven to eliminate same error or delay in future

▪ Inventory Management & Control

▪ Other Supply Chain Tasks as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

▪ Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

▪ Minimum 2-4years experience in similar role or related role

▪ Basic knowledge in project management.

▪ Candidate must have above average (intermediate to expert) skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

▪ Experience in a Solar or Manufacturing Company is a plus.

Critical Skills

▪ Ability to analyze multiple data sources and create reports using MS-Excel

▪ Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimum supervision and must possess ability to make sound judgements with confidence

▪ Familiarity in working with Ariba sourcing and Navision is a plus

▪ Strong inter-personal skills, ability to work cross-functionally and develop/utilize collaborative relationships

▪ Flexible work habits with maturity to accept changing demands as they occur

▪ Inbound / Outbound Logistics coordination and management expertise
