Okezie Ikpeazu has survived a legal action by a senior lawyer, Friday Nwosu, seeking to disqualify him as governor of Abia state. Daily Trust in a report on Friday, April 13, stated that the Supreme Court in a verdict dismissed the suit by Nwosu and upheld the ruling of the Court of Appeal, which dismissed the appeal challenging Ikpeazu's qualification.
