Atiku is a thieving scummy slowpoke! Is it not ironic that this loony says the younger generations are inexperienced in leadership but pray, how will anyone gain experience if he never gets a (decent) shot at a job? No, I am not saying Nigeria needs a totally clueless person who will come and apprentice for 4 to 8 years before he can lead the nation but is it not obvious that all or almost all the positions of leadership are RIGGED by his party to favor themselves? Good education which will be a foundation for further leadership and management skills cannot be attained by majority of people because the older bastards like Modibbo, Turai, et al on Yaradua's watch, stole virtually all the monies to buy books for students, including disabled students! When the quarter-baked students cannot pass by their honest efforts. . .people like Atiku who have ensured that younger Nigerians cannot make a breakthrough by honest effort. . .has so convoluted the thinking of parents to go and buy admissions, forge documents, rig admission, etc just to get admission into an already shitty Nigerian university! Most of the students only struggle to pass and graduate after years of strike and (mostly) substandard education where they have no desire to get into student unionism/leadership - a veritable avenue to breed future leaders for the country!

After graduation, most of the reasonable management trainee schemes are also rigged for the highest bidders, children of the rich and powerful (who are usually the most useless) and do not have the intellectual and moral capacity for leadership (e.g. Yaradua, Obasanjo-Bello, Yaradua, etc). Politics at the councillor, local government, state are all SO RIGGED either for the same old men or the most useless children who have no brains to lead anything! So, how are the youths going to get experience? What does this scenario leave Nigerians? A useless old, dying and wasted generation of pot-bellied bangers who had great opportunities provided for them when they were young but have since denied younger Nigerians the same! These are people like Atiku, IBB, Obasanjo, Yaradua, etc. . .who think they are the only ones who can rule and will do so even in their graves! What a bunch of useless monkeys who deserve no mercy or pity when they are 6-feet under!

What's schoking about that. They are birds of same feather, bent on perpetuating themselves in power.

How else will they be able to do that, if young people are allowed a shot to show them how irrelevant they are in the scheme of things.

He is sure the first name on the list of the 'select' young people that cannot rule the country

the reaason we are a failed state like most African country and other 3rd world in othere continent is because of our OLD LEADERS

AVERAGE AGE OF OBAMA CABINET BELOW 50
AVERAGE AGE OF THE NEW CAMERON GOVERNMENT IS ABOUT 40

EVEN IF IBB OBJ ATIKU DECLARE THE FALSE AGE WERE ARE LOOKING AT 70+ STILL FIGHTING TO LEAD US

ONLY THE YOUNG CAN FREE THEMSELVES THOUGH IN AFRICAN WE WILL FIND IT HARD

RESPECT YOUR ELDERS AND LET THEM KEEP STEALING OUR RESOURCES

am just suprised that after the barrage of attacks IBB faced for making such gaffe any politician in their right senses will make the same comment 1 month later.

You guys are here shouting on this two old men. But what they said is jst the hard truth.
How old was IBB when he first planned the first coup. He made use of the Corrupt leadership though for his selfish purposed. Please can someone tell me that the corruption which lead IBB into hijacking power then was more that what we have today in the present government?
Why wont they say so, when Nigerian could be without a president for 90days and no single youth did anything abt it. Who were the people that had the boldness to say enough was enough? The same old men, the like of Wole Soyinka.

If the likes of Wole Soyinka are still the once infront of a demonstration and rallies, mobilizing the youths and agitation for right thing to be done, is it not a clear prove that we the youths have failed the nation? Does that not confirm the fact of what these men are saying.

You guys think these old men are silly? They have really weighed the youth of the Nation, but found them wanting. So you guys should stop whining on the net. If you wanna prove to them otherwise you get on the street and do that and not online.
