For you to understand why the Sub Saharan black African society is in chaos, do this experiment in your mind. Take away everything the white men and Chinese made for him. Cloths, Mobile phones, Cars, Building materials, Electric lamps, Radio, Television, Internet, Computer, Airplane, Motorcycle, Bicycle and even food. Just strip away everything. Then build a very high wall around sub Saharan Africa. What do you see?

You will discover that the African black man in the sub Saharan Africa is still living in the 17th century. Now add all these technology back which he didn't contribute anything to, what do you see? A 17th century person with a mobile phone. If you think this is an insult please do the experiment again.

So now he has all these technology but his mind is not evolved enough to make good use of it but he is not sending out a "Source quench" message. If you don't know what a "Source quench" is please Google it.

There is nothing wrong with a 17th century mentality, but just don't mix it up with 21st century technology. That has a way to fry the brain of many people.

He doesn't realize that he is in a precarious situation. All the materials he is allowed to use that he didn't contribute anything to is masking his judgement. Only our people show off with stuff he didn't create and could never think of creating.

Anything he cannot explain is witchcraft. He takes simple science and turn it into voodoo. He thinks God speaks with him through the spirit but still relies on a mobile phone to relay the message further to his friends.

He has a central bank with monetary policy but many still believe you can use humans and body parts to make money or even eat excrement to be successful.

In this age of scientific advancement he still wants to force a women to drink the dirty water that was used to wash her dead husband. He called it tradition.

I just want to show you how bad the situation is. Black Africans must start to realise they are contributing very little to the world today and must make the conscious choice to start to do so before they can develop.

This man has psychological emergency and must be treated before he can move on. Otherwise, he will forever be stuck in this place. So each of us must make the conscious decision daily to change this narrative.

I agree with you totally. Our problem cannot be fixed easily. We might just need to start from our children, teach them how to think and not what to think. Producing and not consuming, ask and seek for answers and not just believe blindly on what others said.

I think for us to develop. Lets remove all this our chinese and american friends from the picture and think we're in the 17th century and try to start building things by ourselves.
I know y'll won't like to part with your iphones etc, but if reinventing the wheel is what will save us, then we should starting thinking along that line. My take is that, a law should be pass that ensure 80% of all govt budget should be spent locally. Even if they have buy to cars or military hardware, it should be 80%
locally produce here with local know how. If adhered to, it won't take more a decade and half before we meet and possibly overtake the west, simply because we are not actually reinventing the wheel, the wheel is already there. Abeg make una contribute

This may be true for some Africans ( some Nigerians) in Africa. African immigrants in the US have contributed many new technologies serving the world or potentially doing so. Examples

1. http://innov8tiv.com/dr-ndubuisi-ekekwe-nigerian-genius-making-remarkable-tech-strides/
2. http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/metro/nigerian-born-wash-u-scientist-wins-annual-st-louis-award/article_db835312-9a05-588a-a7b5-7fdf28653805.html

3. Bennet Omalu
Another Nigerian academic based in the United States. His discovery of the brain disease Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) was at first dismissed by the National Football League in the USA because it was linked to the frequent blows to the head that Omalu pointed to as its cause. They, however, admitted that it was a problem in 2009- after a number of NFL players had died of the disease.

In Nigeria, it was Igbos who produced all the munitions they used in fighting a 3-year long war against Nigeria, UK and other foreign elements.
Innoson is also producing (call it assembling if you like; that is also what Toyota, Ford, etc does) cars in Nigeria and exporting to West African Countries. I wish other ethnic groups can do half of these and Nigeria will be great. I make bold to say that without Igbos and to a slightly lesser extent Yoruba, Nigeria is dead like dodo in terms of actual or potential technological prowess.

At the moment, most of the Nigerian-owned companies in Nigeria are into services (Banks, Insurance, ISPs, etc). However a few like Zinox also manufactures stuff. Any coincidence that Zinox is Igbo-owned?

After watching these videos on how our fore fathers made tools from iron ore over 2000 years ago, I realised we can start our own indigenous industrial revolution in Nigeria if we start teaching our own local technologies in our schools, colleges, polytechnics and universities, this way we can come up with new and better ways of improving our own local technologies and there will be local industries waiting to employ students who have completed their education.

This is the way forward for us to become a world power.

Where were you when your minister of Science and technology was on national TV and radio stations announcing to the whole world (2017) that NIGERIA is positioning herself to begin manufacturing match sticks and toothpicks.

If the man still wears idiotic suits and teaches subjects based on European curriculum, he is the greatest offender of all Africans.
