Did you create an account with Aweber or Getresponse, went on to create opt-in form and even create on opt-in offer so as to make your site visitors give you their email address. Only to find out that you aren't getting lots of email subscriber as you have hoped; you get few subscribers daily. The fact is that, passive form of getting email subscribers where you place opt-in form at one location on your blog no longer work. In order to get subscribers today, you have to be very creative in where you place your email opt-in form. Below are 8 places you can add opt-in form on your blog to get lots of subscribers.

1. Floating bar

Displaying your email sign-up form on a floating bar that stays at the top or at the bottom of the page. With this, your opt-in form will always be in the view of your blog visitors scroll through your blog. Using a color that contrast your blog's predominant color will cause the opt-in form to pop out and draw your visitors attention.

2. Above Your Footer

Don't miss the chance to present your opt-in form to those visitors who make it to the bottom of your page. These visitors are interested in what your blog is about and are more likely to give you their email. Remind them of what they can get for signing up.

3. Under Your Headline

Take advantage of your blog post headline's attention grabbing ability and drive your readers attention to your opt-in form by placing it right below the headline. Instead of giving that important spot to your name and post date, place your opt-in form there and make use of the attention already captured by your post headline. Show your readers your opt-in form when they are captivatd the most.

4. With a Welcome Mat

A welcome mat is similar to a pop up but is less annoying, because it doesn't show visitors content of other website and it is easier to close. With a welcome mat, you can make the decision to opt-in or not the only one your visitors consider at that moment. If your visitors doesn't wish to sign up, they simply scroll down, click 'no thanks' or the times and your blog will reappear.

5. At Your Sidebar

Because visitors are used to finding opt-in form at the sidebar of blogs, some of them that are interested in what your blog has to offer would check there for your opt-in form. So you should always make sure you have an email opt-in form at your blog's sidebar. On your blog's sidebar, you can create several kinds of ad and opt-in forms.

6. With an Exit Pop up

Exit pop ups shows up when your visitors click a bottom that closes your blog and present them with a pop up message which can be your email opt-in form. By using exit pop up to make a last attempt at making your visitors opt-in, you can get a lot of them to do so who would have otherwise left your blog without signing up.

7. On Your Blog Page

When you place an opt-in form in the middle of your blog page, it will blend in with your blog post and visitors reading your blog post will be more likely to sign up. Visitors reading your blog post who are in the mood to get more of what your blog has to offer, will go on to click on your sign up form and sign up.

8. In Your About Page

Of all the pages in a blog, the about page is one of the most visited page since virtually every page link to it. The people who land on your about page are interested in knowing about you and will go on to know about you. Make sre you place an opt-in form in your about page to capture these people who already know you, as they will be the ones who will engage with you more.

Another surefire way to increase your email opt-in is to create a dedicated email opt-in squeeze page in your blog. You can then go on to promote this page individually to get more email subscribers. In order to create a highly effective email opt-in squeeze page that will bring in tons of subscribers, I recommend you use Squeeze Page Madness It will help you create an opt-in page with video and other important things that are very effective in converting visitors to subscribers.

Email marketing works when done right. If most of the emails you send to your subscribers are helpful informational emails, they will be more likely to open and read your emails. When you use aweber for example, the email you send to your subscriber list will go to their inbox.

As they trust you because of the valuable content you give them, they will be more likely to follow the product recommendation you offer them in your email. The idea behind email marketing is that people are more willing to follow the recommendations they receive in an email from a trusted source.
