A man identified as Danlynton Remedy is in pains following a mistake made by a doctor after an accident. The young man was involved in a motorcycle accident recently which left him with a wound on his stomach.

According to reports, "When he was rushed to the hospital in Okigwe, Imo state - the doctor mistakenly cut his small intestine during the surgery that made faeces to be running out of his stomach.

He was later referred to the Federal Medical Center FMC in Umuahia, Abia state for serious medical attention and further surgery.

We will not make any conclusions until we hear the side of the doctor/hospital. We all know what Nigerian patients can do, wicked set of people, that was how one came to nairaland, saying the doctor gave wrong injection that blocked his intestines and he was feeding through the nose Imagine, blocked intestines and feeding through the nose, rubbish.

Let me explain
Mistakes happen in the medical field all the time doctors are humans first and humans make mistakes.
Secondly this write up is alarmist in nature. A healthy human does not have faecal matter in the small intestine. If they do that person is in trouble.
What happened here ( I am assuming) is while the doctor was doing whatever it is he was doing he “knicked” the large intestine and caused faecal matter to leak into the abdominal cavity. What procdure he was doing don’t know as “ a wound on his stomach” does not really say a lot.

The young man lived ...some are not so fortunate especially in a country where people forge qualifications even medical qualifications.
