Is There An Attempt To Bring Back The Arabic Writing On The 100 Naira Note? by alBHAGDADI: 3:07pm On Apr 17, 2018
I just finished reading a statement from MURIC in which it claims the removal of the Arabic writing on the 100 Naira note was a spite against Muslims in Nigeria. The group further went on to state that the notes were poorly made that's why they don't last as seen in the high rate of bad notes in circulation today.

Recent development can make one suspect that there is an attempt to remake the 100 Naira note and this time it will contain the Arabic writing that was removed when the new centenary note was introduced. Why are we just having an high rate of bad 100 Naira notes now after 4 years of introduction? Is CBN or whoever is in charge of getting rid of the old ones and printing new notes not doing their job?

I s there really a need to have Arabic on the Naira notes? Are we an Arab country? Are we an Islamic country? Why place a totally foreign language belonging to people that aren't our colonial masters on our currencies? Why do such to the detriment of our own local languages? Why make it an avenue to cause religious divide?

Why use religious sentiment to complain about the removal of Arabic from 100 Naira note? What is an Arab writin gdoing on Nigeria's coat of arms?

I believe there is an attempt to discredit the 100 Naira note, that's why so many dirty notes have been released while the clean ones are being hoarded.

Pls, every right thinking Nigerian should stand up against any attempt to include Arabic writing in the 100 Naira note under the guise of reprinting it.

You're still yet to tell us why you chose to take the name of an Islamic terrorist who has been responsible for tens of thousands of deaths, while you still claim to be a Christian.

This thing was deliberate, bad notes are withdrawn from circulation and destroyed while new ones are put into circulation. If notes wanted to get spoilt, it wouldn't be one specific denomination, it would cut across all but you notice that it's only the 100 naira that's very bad. MURIC is trying to insinuate that the 100 naira is bad because there's no Arabic written on it, I on the other hand felt someone was making a killing by recirculating these bad notes instead of having new ones printed then getting paid for the printing of new ones which he didn't do. Now the game plan is clear, one good thing about these dolts in power is that they like flying kites about their intentions long before they carry them out to gauge how people will feel or take it and that's when I knew the recirculation of the bad notes was a deliberate ploy to get all of them bad across board at once then reintroduce new ones printed with Arabic inscriptions

My brother that's the plan !!!! That's the reason the Buhari govt has refused to print a single new note of 100 naira notes since he came despite calls from banks to CBN that every single 100 naira notes in circulation is completely worn out for use ...Buhari clearly doesnt want to approve the currency because it doesn't contain the Muslim inscription on it anylonger . This is a shame

Sadly, Christians are reading this thread and ignoring to grace with comments. When these wicked people pull through with their plans, they will start to shout like fools.

Muslims too are reading the thread and acting as if it doesn't concern them. They can see the way MURIC is going about with their extremist campaign. If MURIC should achieve their aim, Muslims will gladly dance to the market with shouts of Islam is winning. They forget that the fight is a wicked one that cheats others. But if MURIC is called out for their extreme nature, they will say they don't represent Islam.

Where is the voice of Islam to condemn them now that we need it?

Why do we have the Ajami on the Uniform of the Nigerian Army? Is that necessary? Why not English, the country’s Lingual Franca? This creates a divide in the system. It overtly shows that some people are more important than the others.

Why consider the illiterates from a certain section of the country and forget the illiterates from other sections? If the trick is to help people with a popular tribe understand, what happens to the illiterates from less popular tribes?

While the unconcerned citizens see nothing wrong with it since it doesn’t affect them, the Nigerians whose ego it massages and titillates, treat them with a certain disdain. That’s the power of symbolism. It doesn’t have any effect on you but because someone believes in it, in a country where such egotism shouldn’t be promoted, his actions affect you.

While you enjoy and live large, a fragmented society is growing. A society where some persons think they are the purest of breeds. A society where some persons feel they genuinely own Nigeria. If you don’t care you should start caring now. You should start demanding for the creation of a nation of citizens and not tribes.

Symbolism is intended to communicate, in this case, power and ownership. If out of a hundred tribes, a transliteration for a small section is made paramount, then the rights to segregate has been granted. The rights to feel better is granted and chaos happens.

While it is evident that all organised religion poisons almost everything, I think Islam poisons everything. But this is slavery by an evil genius. Once you are enslaved to view the barbaric deeds of one saviour as right, you are doomed as a human being.

The Nigerian religionists, especially the Muslims, are so entrapped. The KSA control them all through religion and they don't mind creating chaos in their own system just to please them. What for? The worship of Gods whose morality stink.

Make no mistake, buhari's plan is to spread Sharia all over Nigeria! And the govt is planning to bring back Arabic to the N100 note as sign of Islamic conquest. That is why they refused to recycle the old N100 notes. When Nigerians complain about old dilapidated naira note in circulation, they will take advantage of the situation to include Arabic during fresh minting.

Arabic is the original language of the Koran therefore a religious language. That is why it has no business in secular society.

That is why they refuse to print new notes.
They want this Jonathan batch to worn out first before printing new ones with the Islamic inscription

All these things shaped the, 2015 election. It was all over ALL Islamic fraternity.

Those, who can check posts history, can check mine.

I told people in various posts.

They now want to rally the Muslims for a terrible government.

It's shameful.

The implications of 2015 elections, is beyond comprehension.

The original N100 has the Ajami right

The centennary edition was just for ceremonial purpose and wasn't supposed to be printed in perpetuity.
