I totally agree education must be well funded.

But there are stark realities such as having a high wage bill, low foreign reserves or savings, and at the same time severely lacking in infrastructure .

Why is it so difficult for you guys to understnoand your nation has never been rich and whatever it ever made was never properly managed?

For how long would you vilify those that are working to make things work by way of prudence and prioritizing?

Can't you make an independent assessment free of prejudices and determine what needs to be done and what the constraints might be?

As far back as 2009, Oronsanya wrote a report advising government to restructure mdas to reduce redundancy and the wage bill. Up till today, has Buhari done anything to implement this?

Arthur Eze had $2.8 million to lend out. Why can't government come up with creative ways to tax people like him. He made his money from Nigeria so he should give his money to Nigeria. To he who much is given, much is expected.

In the US, there is a death tax were 51 percent of a person's worth is taxed by the government at the time of death.

Who is our government protecting by not raising taxes.

Is it because government officials are part of the elite so there do not want to tax themselves?
This is why I am clamouring for a youth to take over, a youth that has live abroad for a while and understands the system there. America is the most capitalist nation on earth, yet its youths get free quality basic education. Basic Education is a right and not socialism or a gift from government.

Most of what you are saying about Nigeria not being rich does not make any sense. Ghana is not rich but it's government's revenues are 18 percent of their GDP. why can't our own revenue be up to 18 percent?

Look, being president is not about making popular decisions but making tough decisions that would move the nation forward. This is what you clearly do not understand.

Today, Nigeria has become the country with the most number of people living in extreme poverty. We have all sorts of militants formed primarily because of poverty. Does this not bother you?

Buhari has blamed the past leaders now he is blaming the youths. At what point will the buck stop at his table?

Stop being hot under the collar. Everything takes precedence and time. At a time when this government came into office states owed months and months of salaries, had we continued spending our reserves the way the last government was depleting it, we would have had a Venezuelan situation but I know you don't want to believe this.

Look vote out this government if it is your heart's desire and get whoever you think would do the magic.

Don't worry I'll give him my support (except Atiku of course) but I'll bet with anyone 3 years time you.would make the same statement .

So we are doomed to mediocrity? Is it our African Gene?
We just can't push reforms to better our lot? What I have said today isn't much different from what Bill Gates said.

It is a shame that we must remain the basket case for the world on how to run a country badly. Even other African countries are leaving us behind.

Permit me to say Bill Gates was talking rubbish.

It's like someone telling a 29 year old to go and marry when he has no idea what the fellas pocket reads.

Bill Gates was simply theorizing based on what I would call old, obsolete data. Of course, he is Bill Gates and cannot be wrong.

We must invest in human development but Npower and 5k to the poorest of the poor was devised to address this within the framework of resources available.

We are a poor nation and we must challenge ourselves to escape this poverty.

Crying would not solve anything.

Create, create, create.

Bill Gates was talking rubbish?

The same man that singlehandedly funds many health programmes in Nigeria, and has access to government information involving revenue and spending habits, that you will never be privy to.

Guy, your education was a waste. You have allowed an irrational love of buhari to make a mess of you.

Let's try to have a constructive discussion.

Are you saying that the size of our GDP is not 400 billion?

Or don't you understand what GDP is?

Bill Gates argument, which is my argument, is that oil money is not and has never been sufficient to run Nigeria and since Nigeria has a GDP of 400 billion dollars, governments revenues should not be less than 10 percent giving that in most countries, government revenues are typically higher than 20 percent of their GDP.

am I making any sense?
