And just few hours ago, Arsenal FC confirmed that Arsene Wenger is set to step down at the end of the 2017/18 season as manager of the club after 22 seasons.

A statement on the Arsenal website read: “After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season. I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years.

“I managed the club with full commitment and integrity,” the statement continued. “I want to thank the staff, the players, the Directors and the fans who make this club so special.

“I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high. To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club. My love and support for ever.”

For me, I think that every prophecy is meant to edify, bless, warn the people of God and the world. But most importantly, it has to glorify God! .

Football has become an idol for many, a god of its own. Any prophecy that gives it life, for me is doubtful.

Others are, prophesying to a man/woman who isn't born again, and is seriously living in sin, that God will prosper them all round if they do this or that, without asking them to repent of their sins. How?

Or tell an unbeliever to pray that God will do this or that. How?

But the bible tells us that, the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to God. So, who inspired that prophecy? God does not contradict His word. Repent, then pray, and all will be well. Simple!
