I have been seeing some advert about the phone but I don't take it serious but today I want to order a phone for someone today and I storm on the phone (elephone u pro) and I make some research on it and behold the phone is a machine as in a really machine, I can't believe the phone beat Samsung galaxy S8 in speed test despite using Snapdragon 660 compare to 835 on S8 I don't know how they manage to do that.

I watched alot of reviews about the phone and am just falling in love with the phone the more, I just wonder how nobody has been rooting for the phone here. Please let's show this worthy device the praise it deserves.

Don't just use the spec sheet to judge but also see their real life performance, this phone beat Samsung galaxy S8 in speed test and multitasking, it color reproduction is a little better when S8 is switch to 2K also, the battery life is also slightly better and it boost latest OS 8.1, it cost $450 while S8 cost $650.

Una don start. First the processor is sd660 while that of the Samsung s8 and oneplus 5T is sd835 so don't even go there. It is overpriced because most sd660 devices are not as expensive as this and Elephone software is shitty. Anyone splurging on this one is on his or her own, no wonder the sale of the phone is performing badly in the market. The market price shouldn't be more than $350-380. I wouldn't even buy their brand even for that price. Go and watch techtablets review on the phone, you go know.

It is a civilized world already, you order for the phone then what stop you from ordering for the spare part if needs arises. Me and my friend bought oukitel u20 plus this time last year mine got stolen but his fell and have a bad screen he gentle order for the screen and give it to an engineer to fix it and the phone is working 100% as I am typing this.
If you order a phone online you can also order for anything about the phone (even pouch, screen protector are allowed too) its even cheaper self because that my friend order it for not up to 1K then, what about difficult to find spare part of common phone in Nigeria too like Gionee, Xiaomi, oneplus, google pixel, asus, hauwei etc should people stop buying them because of scarce spare part? Its now easy bro you need any phone spare part order it simple.

Well said bro. But then, it is a civilized world does not mean every one is civilized. Is this phone only available online? Some people see online purchase as a waste of time. Some others see buying of ordinary pouches and battery online which shipping fee will be inclusive is a waste of money.

I've watched most of the English reviews on YouTube that why am stunned by the phone, you can't use one review to determine the fate of the phone what about the other reviews like tech brother's, IT tech's, Red skull's, Mr whoistheboss's etc.

On the side of the chipset that what I don't know how they manage to do that with SD660 making it faster in opening apps than S8 and multitasking.

On their software that the beauty of android you can change the launcher or even tweak the phone if you like.

The phone is not expensive for a phone that can stand Samsung galaxy S8, name a phone in that price range that can beat this phone. Remember how much infinix is selling their zero 5 plus and how mid-range Samsung like J7 pro, A9, A5 (2017), Note 5 and how much their selling their S7 edge that when you will realize this phone not too expensive.

Stop comparing this with galaxy s8. YouTube videos show it's less than 1 second faster than the s8 in opening apps but why would I sacrifice that beautiful display for less than 1 second in speed of app opening. And just so u know it's because of Android 7 running on the s8 vs Android 8 running on the elephone. Try look for galaxy s8 that has been updated to Android 8 u will see it's a llt faster.

Moreover phones are not mates. S8 is a flagship phone, the elephone is a flagship killer. And trust me there are better flagship killers out there like OnePlus 5t with a better processor, Motorola motoz z2 play, LG G6. All these phones are less than $500, so instead of me spending $450 on an unknown brand like elephone I'll buy one of those. The elephone u20 is not even water resistant, no ois, and it's 1080p while s8 is qhd and has all the bells and whistles. It's a nice phone, but the reason we are not buying is because there are better alternatives at similar price.

For a starter, Xiaomi mi note 3 can wipe the floor with this one. Would also consider the essential phone above this since they are being sold for the same price now. I can also chip in mi 6 that is the 4/64gb version. Huawei honor v10 is also there(just add like $20). You can't even begin to exhaust the list.

I don't care about our local players here as I don't even use their products. I am saying no way am I spending a phone on a brand whose software is shitty. Have used elephone in the past so I know what am saying. Changing and tweaking of phones is par for the course with these brand so it's nothing spectacular

Oneplus 5T is still around $500ish, essential phone with sd835 is $400. Why do you keep saying no better phone at that price point? You can take a gamble on it though. Good luck.

First of all, only 1 phone has a better display than the s8 and that is the s9. This ulephone is great no doubt, but the display still has some tint to it when viewed from the side while the s8 maintains the same view. Check the video below, fast forward to 2:50

Also the camera on this phone is so disappointing. LG G6 is sold for around $450-$500 now, same with OnePlus 5T. S8 is still over $600

That video is even on my phone, I know but color reproduction on the phone is better you watch the video again and how saturated (over saturated) the color of the phone is. And about those price you can recheck that Oneplus 5T, LG G6 and S8 are now sold at similar price, recheck.

To me the Nokia 7 Plus stock android beats the confusing UI that Elephone has.

Battery is bigger, don't know if it lasts longer but that's probably the case since they use the same chipset and stock android means battery is even more optimized.

Multi-tasking, also based on stock android we already know who the winner is.

Now if Nokia 7 Plus was another Elephone Phone, maybe i may not have been 100% certain about whichI cant one to go for but brand value matters and Nokia has more brand value to me.
