ckenneths:Hate Chimaroke all you can,but there was no doubt that fella brought American quality standard and ideas in some of his iconic projects. This Esuth Medical College (Parklane) stands out. His rainbow net and Cosmo Fm were signature ideas too in Enugu. Enugu is a hidden jewel in the east. Complete the International conference centre,Complete the abandoned mega projects along Rangers avenue started by Chimaroke but siezed by EFCC,revive hotel presidential and hand it over to any international hotel franchise (Raddison Blu,Marriot ,Sheraton,IBIS etc),revive Cosmo and launch a company that provides 4G broadband Internet services, fix the roads in Emene industria estates, concession Akanu Ibiam airport and we have a city ready to take on the world. The requisite populace are already on ground to live up to the billing. Keep the shots coming bro! 10 Likes 1 Share |

ckenneths:Chief Nnia Nwodo. Ike Ukehe 1! Sad such a cerebral man took over Ohaneze at a very tumultuous period in Igbo and Nigeria history. Oga spyder, can you give us more details of that programme on the billboard? It seems like a Pan-Igbo event. Confirm if it has taken place already or yet to. Keep the shots coming still. 1 Like |

ckenneths:Is it that ESWAMA has upped their game or are these older pictures taken during Chime's time? The streets thus far look pretty clean and well maintained. The road markings are also looking fresh and new. Those pictures can pass for some suburbs in Dakota! 7 Likes 1 Share |

ckenneths:And the greenery of this city continues to bloom! What an enduring culture! Yet,i know we can plant more trees and flowers especially along the dual carriage ways and along single lane streets on all the new roads being built in all the residential areas of the city. Spyder please confirm if Gburus continued constructing inner street roads where Chime stopped? 4 Likes 1 Share |

ckenneths:Road markings, road markings ooo! All ye Gburugburu espionage hovering in this thread, please take word to him to commence remarking and marking of all major streets in Enugu. Even inner streets roads should not be left out. Imagine the beauty of this Bisala road. Yet none of the lane was marked! Even the marks on Abakiliki road you showed earlier are look slightly faded 6 Likes 1 Share |

Ogbuefi2020: @bolded, i'm so disappointed with you. So you are still fixed in believing that Chino is Igbo let alone from Anambra? Even if he is Anambra, do you think everybody in his village acts like him or agree with him? Let alone people in his town, let alone every Anambra person? Na real wah for some of you people. Your fickle mind is waay too small to live in the modern Igboland that is unfolding and will not have those borders of Anambra, Imo or Ebonyi. Soon Nigeria will have NO choice but to restructure and we will eventually drop all the silly artificial state borders created by military regimes. We shall have one highly developed SE region + Anioma. We shall have one governor, one parliament, One deputy President to represent us in Abuja, One IG of Police, etc. Once Nigeria restructures, the federating units will naturally revert to 6 regions with minor boundary adjustments to allow people belong to the region they prefer. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Afam4eva: I know Asaba very well, they tend to speak their dialect of Igbo to themselves but they don't respond when asked questions in central Igbo. Even in their schools Igbo language is not taught. Their old women blow pidgin like they are at Ughelli, their youths blow pidgin too due to the influx of non indigenes within the state. 1 Like |

Cjrane2: One thing I have come to realize is that some people just hate Anambra people, in their little mind they think they can stop a moving train. What Chino is not the reason they Anambra, they just don't like us even before they joined Nairaland. 1 Like |

AnambraDota: I am so disappointed with this comment you made. For you to defend character like chino and his multiple accounts raises some red flags. Nobody hates Anambra. I am an Anambra man so don’t even try to start nonsense. You are defending a fake character that has dragged Anambra peoples name through the mud on this forum. Please don’t get me started. Let’s just move on to another issue. Don’t Derail this thread. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

ckenneths:I don't know why Igbos, particularly pro Biafra peeps are so critical of Nnia Nwodo. I think he's the best president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo that we've had in a long time. The man stood to be counted during the Nnamdi Kanu days and did not sellout like a lot of people would want us to believe. He was just very strategic in the way he supported the struggle. 6 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: . by Cjrane2: 5:04am On Sep 13, 2018 |
ckenneths: Oga Spyder, Biko why do people still refer to this road as Bisalla road? After the civil war, Bisalla and other military officers just named whatever they liked in Igboland after themselves. Luckily, this road reverted to it's original name Independence Avenue after Bisalla was executed for coup plotting. So, why are we still calling that road Bisalla road? Biko learn to call it Independence Avenue that Chief Michael Okpara who mapped out the road named it -Independence Avenue to commemorate Nigeria' independence. 10 Likes 1 Share |
