The rate at which young Nigerians buy high-end luxury cars has risen rapidly over the past few years. It has become commonplace in Nigeria to see young folks who own very expensive automobiles. These posh cars that previously used to be a once in a while sight, are now everywhere on the streets of the major cities that they are described to be as common as water. I took out time to follow this fact and I found out that entertainers and celebrities are not the only ones that live the flamboyant lifestyle in Nigeria. Cars like Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Range Rover etc. have become very mediocre, commonly driven by young individuals including those less than 30 years which me wonder the type of “exclusive” business opportunities they are privy too because I know working in a bank or teaching will not afford you these cars...........
