I noticed that no constructiion activity is taking place on the Lagos - Ibadan Express way for sometime now. Yet there are many portions that are bad or failed along the road; especially after the long bridge Wawa, Asese, Magboro, Ibafo both ways.
Ogere toll gate too is bad, somewhere around Ibadan toll gate, around Guru and so on.
We have had how much has been spent on infrastructure.
Daily lives are lost on this road due to bad portions, overspeeding and careless driving.
Please when will Lagos - Ibadan be completed?

Oga do you know it is not even fully funded by this unpassed budget. Work stopped as early as April, 2017 sir. This government has not put much. Contractors stopped based on agreement with GEJ's government.
Senator Adeola was only appealing here that 2018 budget will take care.

According to him, the Bureau of Public Procurement, and the Federal Executive Council in 2013, approved the reconstruction, rehabilitation and expansion of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway as a Public Private Partnership project using the Private Finance Initiative, with the Federal Government providing about 30 percent of the funding while the balance shall be provided by the private sector.

The project was on course for completion by end of 2017 when the private finance initiative was being implemented, with over 30 percent completion rate attained as at early 2015.

Abdullahi further noted that in a blatant disregard for existing agreements, constituted authorities and extant laws, Fashola on assumption of office got government through the Ministry to start voting money for the implementation of the project.

Lagos Ibadan every time what about Lagos Badagry express way. That road has been under construction for 7 years. Right now d road has been abandoned by fg. The people there are suffering day in day out. Trade fair people, people going to mile 2 from iyanoba are passing thru hell. Some times I think why can't we protest on that road. The only thing they completed on that road is the demolition of people houses close to the road. If d govt is not ready to fix a road why demolish. Some said its ECOWAS project. Some said its fg project. Are we going to die b4 we enjoy govt in this country?
