luffyhaki: Maybe people that have gone for EOR before should confirm if there's any change in date on the new TRF issued after remark when it's reprinted. If thats the case, then it can be used to ascertain if they actually sent it for re-evaluation or not. |

My colleague too did not get an upgrade. 46k down the drain. It didn't even reach 4 weeks. Is it safe to assume that MOD/IDP does not favor those seeking for EOR? luffyhaki: |

luffyhaki: Yeah i remember and that he sent a mail to Australia to confirm if they got his EOR. He reported MOD began to apologise to him after Australia said they didn't receive his EOR. Maybe I should send IETLSAustralia too an email 2 Likes |

Newmum0615: In my view though, I think MOD hardly give favorable EOR for writing..I also applied for EOR on the writing module but na just my 46k dem chop..lol |

Same thing here. I requested for remark of my writing with MOD IDP. It remained unchanged. I want to register again, i'm yet to decide between BC or MOD IDP. Olha: |

ysteph: I think you should go with BC cos remark (writing) with IDP is a risky burger and they can like to give most people 6.5 1 Like |

senator77: 1. Yes. As a matter of fact, your GCKEY credentials is your "key" to logging into many Canadian government online services. So it's not for immigration application use alone. You will also need it when you want to track your PR card for collection in Canada. 2. No idea. But honestly, if you ask me, I'd say it's not so necessary. Job Bank creation has become optional. 3. Not necessary. Refer to No. 2 above. Any contrary opinion is welcomed. It will all end in praise IJN! |

Good afternoon everyone. May God bless 're brain behind this thread and all the contributors to the thread. I have read most of the threads from part 1 and I must confess it's super educative and enlightening. I pray my request/worry will get a solution here. We started this journey about 4 years ago with an agent (didn't know we could do it on our own). The agent messed up, didn't get us into the pool before the express entry system started all because she abandoned our application till the last minute before realising we had the wrong size of passport for our baby then. Abandoned the whole process till a friend told me we could do it ourselves and while searching I found this thread. (To think I've been on nairaland for a while now and I never saw it) Anyway, thank God I found it. My issue now is, we somehow can't get more 5han 407 crs score even with an all 8 band in ielts. I'm not sure why. I've tried everything. My husband has an MSC from the UK. Chartered both in the UK and nigeria. Over 11 years experience 4 of which were in the uk 42 years old Ielts speaking 8 Listening 8.5 Writing 8 Reading 8.5 Are we doing something wrong? I've even tried the Australian route. I'm just confused. I don't want to believe it's my village people that don't want us to go o. Please someone should help me. Is there a way to claim points for professional certifications(just being hopeful) My own ielts Speaking 8 Writing 7.5 Reading 7 Listening 7.5 I'm 38 years old. NB : the agent died a few months later so it took a while to even get our log in details to the pool. 1 Like 1 Share |

My sister, change your own listening to 8, the scores will be better, though Oga has good IELTS score, his age will drastically reduce the points. Do you also have a Master's degree? If you do , you can be the primary applicant with better listening scores, the points will be higher, Oga will give you the maximum 30 that a spouse without Canadian experience/education can give. mumzt: 4 Likes |
