Amazon LLC, founding ground of different subsidiaries spanning over different fields such as movies (IMDB), Alexa (Internet), and others have just launched a new internet browser for Android device.

Interestingly, this app is called Internet, coinciding with what the World Wide Web is known as. According to Amazon, “internet” is the simplest browser to download right now.

This new Android browser is incredibly fast and Lite, thanks to its small size and well optimized design, with a great security private features in place. The Amazon web browser is specifically designed for low-end phones with slow network connections. It’s more like Google Go, YouTube Go, Facebook lite, Twitter Lite, LinkedIn lite and other Lite apps.

However, it is imperative to note there are better browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Mozilla, UC and others but they all require large MB to download and on a serious note, none of them can boast of the lightweight feature available on Amazon’s Internet. The file size is just 2MB, saving up massive amount of space and data on your device.

As at the time of publishing this post, this new Amazon browse called Amazon Internet is only available in India. We expect it will be made available to the other countries very soon including Nigeria, United States, England, South Africa and lots more.
