Precisely on 8th of July 2016 at the Nigerian Championships, Seye Ogunlewe successfully defended his national 100metres title. He won the 100 meters with a personal best of 10.12seconds ahead of closest rival Divine Oduduru and old war horse Ogho-oghene Egwero and thereby qualified for the Rio Olympic Games. What went down at the RIO games is a topic for another day.
