i'm very happy 2 see Argentina (my fav. football playing nation) sit atop the new FIFA rankings. its high time somebody gave that country some recognition; ignore the fact that they haven't won the world cup in over 2 decades now, but the structure & organization of football in that country is admirable.

they've got, arguably, the best youth football system & their products are everywhere 4 all 2 see & their record in Youth football tourneys speaks volumes.
their ligue is organised, not the best in terms of commercial appeal but good 'nuff in terms competitiveness & there are very few cases of corruption, organized crime & crowd violence.
what trips me most about 'em, is that virtually every national team coach has to go thru the ranks; he'd have @ least coached one of the younger national teams & they tend 2 keep their coaches 4 sometime thus enhancing continuity in the system!

what d'u think, does Argentina deserve 2 be No.1 in the Fifa ranking?
