If this incident were to be in the north, I have no doubt how pigs and idiots would have been typing. But with about 98 percent belief that the driver is a pig with akpu brain, see them either blaming one thing or the other. Foolish animals.

This is a great shame, a great shame actually. An interstate bridge should have the capacity to carry and withstand anything. Even if it is the burden of every Nigerian youth.

Thousands of people travel through anambra and IMO, and you think this can be the bridge they use?

That driver is very stupid!

How can he drive on that artifact? There are many far better roads connecting Anambra to Imo state. Why did this fool choose to destroy this pre-colonial edifice?

Idiots reasoning with their anus. Mtchhhheeeww

And the stupid idiotic drivers are usually abokis from the north. I won't be surprised if there is a sign there showing the maximum weight that bridge can carry.

Igbos are like disease to their own selves.
They will spray money on others at weddings. Spend millions to marry a girl. Show off in luxury fleets and build exorbitant mansions in foreign.

In their own hometown, they will build second-class homes and fence it off. But the roads leading to their homes are piles of mess. They do not want the poor to benefit from their own wealth. They want to give salt and bread to the poor so as to be perpetually praised and held in high regards.

Look at their roads and bridges. Everyone cares about his personal cash. But the ogbo man is the first to contribute for any devopment in Lagos. Wherever there is no light, igbo man will move in there and personally pay for NEPA connection. The igbo man will aggitate for the construction of bridges in Lagos. They complain of traffic jam hence the government makes the moves.

Unfortunately in their own states, nothing moves. The only governor to have made major changes in the east is Sullivan who constructed roads which had been a major setback for Enugu state.

Okorocha built a statute of Zuma, a man regarded as a criminal in his own hometown. There is no agitation and no conscience at all. Funny enough people go to take selfies by these statutes of criminals.

The on-goings in Anambra is like a war of thugs. Everyone is choked up in his own pride. They want to measure up with the next person. Everyone wants to step on someone and no one wants to be stepped on. The spirit on negative competition. In all the money and boasts from Anambrarians, Anambra is still an eye-sore giving that development of the Igbos began started from there. The earliest top easterners who rose to the helms of any government position or who height of capitalism came from Anambra. They boast of it and they fail to realize that is it a curse. The very first president, first governor general, first senate president and first millionaire or billionaire all came from Anambra. But go to Anambra today, more than a half of her children are outside the state. They have invested trillions elsewhere. They cannot live in the mansions that they build in their hometown. It is like a curse. They are hugely involved in rituals and unscrupulous means of earnings. The average Anambrarian has dual-religion and is supportive of illegality.

People from Imo state have danced their waists to foolery. Imo and Abia are beautiful. They are the most beautiful of all Igbos. . But to what end? When you talk of Handicraft, Abia is grade-A. They create and they are decent. But, when the head is twisted the brain moves along with it.
People from Imo state have used their traditional to destroy themselves. The tradition and attitudes are very bad. Gossip and evil-oriented agendas have destroyed those people. They cannot move forward. Owerri is the helm of success in those places yet who wants to go to Owerri? No one!

The east is not a choice place to live for the average Igbo man. They are all seeking greener pastures elsewhere.

This bridge has been this way for years but no one cares. They will rather seek alternative route than repair a place that is not their very own plot.

Shame on the pride of igbos. It has eaten up your success.

Do not blame the government for everything. Lagos was not developed by the government, but by the people. Igbos inclusive. Igbos have developed even badagry. Today, there is not boundary between Lagos and Ogun state thanks to Igbos. Soon, there will be no border between Seme and Cotonou, thanks to Igbos.

An old colonial-era bridge still connects Anambra and Imo state?

But what are these people in government doing sef? From the local government peeps to HOA and HOR member representing that constituency? State and Federal government too?

Anambra and Imo states are within the Niger Delta region (geographical Niger Delta not the political Niger Delta) and as such there's so many of the river Niger tributaries scattered all over and building Bridges for all of them especially within local places like this costs a lot of money. That bridge shouldn't be used by the truck as it wasn't designed for it. It shouldn't even be plying that route in the first place.

The Senator can't do anything this is a clear evidence of marginalization this a federal project bridge linking two states in such case FG takes responsibility. But in case of south east its never so, since after the civil war. Alot of bridge are like this in the east its only maintained by the community.

As painful as this may be, this is the most truthful article a yoruba man have written about d igbos...very true

You are Idi.ot, southeast is far better than your region, I have gone round your backward states in west they are worst, all your villages are still living in penury, single lane roads that connect to you home towns with ridiculous wooden bridges, that vehicles have to wait for for one to use the bridge, from backward village you came from with no decent buildings, you are not in right position to open your gutter and say or write rubbish against Igbo's because they are far better than your lazy tribe

Let me show you wooden bridges that still exist in Lagos till tomorrow

.....but your people prefer to be in jail in southwest rather than live free in the east, never in your life compare west to east, even globally the western world is more developed than the east, we develop together in the west. while you people just choose one city to develop and d rest looks like carboniferous era, that is why your people always shout that they are going to village during festive periods. in imo state, if you are not living on owerri then you are not living at all, i once stayed in a local government that has no ATM in the east, development is not spraying drug money in weddings and funerals, tell your people to make the east habitable so that you people wont be coming here on per second basis. like i always say, an igbo man that has not been to lagos is not a legitimate igbo man.
