At the mention of Nigeria brings to mind aged men and
women who stang like pigs as the month wore on.
Poor itinerants they have nothing to sleep on.
Golden teeth like that which is fixed when coming back from
Saudi or Lebanon.
But it's as a result of tens of years teeth decay with different
colours like crayon.
Dead meat skin round their waist that's what they put on.
Their kids' faces are filled with pimple.
You see them cry endlessly with their lovely dimple.
At the age of two their faces have wrinkle.
They're as helpless as our forefathers under shackle.
The rich are in their starched Agbadas reading article.
They trivialise these issues making it look simple.
While their boys are in a jakuzi that is filled with bubble.
And their girls are on Gucci with a touch of purple.
They care not if the rest of us are weak and feeble.
As long as their kids are active not gullible.
they are well known and called the inner circle.
Many of us smile while we bleed.
Due to the negligence of our greedy breed.
They have no empathy for us in need.
If only we had grasses to weed.
We would have used it to feed.
We wouldn't have acted like those that smoke weed.
O Nigerians let's look at the evil we did.
Other countries say we're wicked indeed.
It is a fact because this is our deed.
Here in our country and over seas.
Because we've all misplaced our priorities.
All we do is buy big cars and properties.
And eat food of various varieties.
Many innocent souls choke.
Our families heart now broke.
We are penniless and extremely broke.
Millions of us cannot afford a bottle of Coke.
Our youths are wild like they are high on coke.(cocaine)
this suffering is so intense so tell me how can we cope.
Beyond sentiment and prejudices this is the scope.
In our villages water is scares but gun is cheap.
As tall as a mountain it's all human heap.
It's 3am in the morning we are all asleep.
Alarms don't work in our villages it's bombs that bleep.
Epidemic dehydration so we drink our blood.
While our leaders buy a 2 billion naira Ford.
A car that Bill Gate cannot afford.
He would rather pledge the money to save the world.
We are seriously oppressed and depressed.
What can we do except to sit passively like one who is
pressed.
please! try as much as possible to remember this word.
Because good messages in Nigeria easily get blurred.
