CREATIVE DESIGNER
Job Description: A Creative Designer works in areas of marketing and advertising to create various materials, such as product labels or brochures that provide information about a company’s offerings. They generally work for multimedia companies or advertising firms.
• The Creative Designer will be required to follow the process from concept to rough layout to prototype to completed project
• It is the responsibility of the Creative Designer to initialize a project by coming up with a general concept and presenting the idea with a rough layout that might include sketches or digital illustrations
• The Creative Designer will be required to collaborate with the other members of the Marketing Services to ensure that the designs/layouts/prototypes are created within project specifications and expectations
• The Creative Designer will be responsible for finding vendors to work with to ensure the desired final production and other outputs
• The Creative Designer should be a strong communicator who think creatively, detail-oriented and is able to meet deadlines
• He should thrive in a collaborative environment and possess strong problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills.
• The Creative Designer should take a customer-driven approach to creating marketing and advertising materials.

Core skills: employers want Creative Designers with these core skills. A Creative Designer should focus on the following.
• Presenting concept visualization through sketches, drawings and illustrations
• Overseeing design changes and improvements throughout the development process
• Integrating technical and visual solutions into a design concept
• Understanding trends within the scope of the industry they are working in
• Using graphic design and other relevant software
