What a show of disregard.
Even if Dino was "faulty", the Senate has the power to sack him (stand to be corrected) or at least invoke the appropriate section of the Constitution that commands his appearance by proxy without any questions.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, has again failed to appear before the Senate.

Displeased with the inability of the IGP to honour an earlier invitation by the Senate, the lawmakers had on April 26, slated today for his appearance.

The resolution was reached during last Thursday’s plenary in Abuja after the Senate Leader, Ahmed Lawal, briefed the senators on the arrest of Senator Dino Melaye and killings across the country.
