HOW TO START

Like every legit business, becoming a successful private tutor requires adequate planning and strategies.

1. FIND OUT WHAT YOU CAN TEACH

Most of private tutoring involves teaching school subjects such as Mathematics, English, Sciences etc.

3. FIND YOUR CLIENTS
This is the most difficult and discouraging part. Alot of people end their journey here. Ironically, the same way you are looking for someone to teach your knowledge/skill is the same way your client is looking for you. One of the most successful way to search for your client is through freelancing (teaching for free). If you are good in the academic subjects, organize free evening lessons for children in you neighborhood and see how fast your paying clients will show. Likewise, if you are a skillful person, organize free workshop for people to come and learn your skills.
