Amazingly e-commerce is an emerging business globally but we have not maximized it here in Nigeria, because we are still doing it the traditional way of our own style of business.
48 %of online shops that opened in the last five years have closed down. If you doubt this just check their websites. Source e-commerce Foundation

Reasons for our failures :

1. We want to see what we want to buy before we will agree to pay.

2. We want to bargain.

3. We don't trust online business because of our past experiences.

4. The webshop owners and operator are not always sincere.

5. We have numerous lurgistics issues.

Solutions:

1. We should know the brand and speculations of what we are buying.

2. We should crosscheck prices on sites and know that the cheaper a product is, the inferior it maybe.

3. We should know genuine and trusted webshops that certified by e-commerce foundation.

4.the webshops owners should be up and doing so people could trust them. And they should qualify for a global Trustmark.

5. The government should do more on rail infrastructure to reduce the price of waybill.
