Pfizer a mutli-national drug company selected 200 children from a makeshift camp in Kano (Nigeria) and gave half of the group an untested drug ‘Trovan’. As a result some died, whilst the rest were left with brain-damage, or disabilities (blindness, deafness, paralyzed). The worst thing is that Pfizer knew Trovan had life threatening effects.

As it stands Pfizers bank balance will be $75million dollars lighter due to a successful lawsuit by the Nigerian federal government on behalf of the victims.

People that live in places like Africa must be given the same levels of protection that British or American citizens enjoy. Any company can be held accountable anywhere for the consequences of their conduct.

Since we are on a roll, Why should we stop at filing lawsuits against companies?

Let us take Switzerland to court- for receiving stolen funds from our corrupt officials.

Wouldn’t that be something?
