A LETTER TO MY GENERATION X

∆ Im really sick of the ethnic ways we march to the political drumming!!!

We Fight! when they tell us 'they want to see fighting'
That's nonsense, I want to see a revolution.
Youths need to risk something!
Take back what's yours!
Say something that you know
They might attack you for!!
'Cause we're sick of being treated
Like we had before.

Like we don't know that the government cater the rich and abandon the poor

Election is near, now they act like they understand us in the back of their private jets
When we can't put fuel in our generators
These 'leaders' are laughing their way to the bank and cashing their cheques
Asking you to have patience and to have some respect, to steer clear from off of the road when their sirens roar.

Last night in my bedroom thinking and I was not laughing
'Cause when it gets tense
I know what might happen
Nigeria is harsh!!
Only the bold and evil men take action
The good ones who try to react get blown into fractions
Teenagers of today is something to see;
they're sexed, cultic and drugged.. The rest are 'taken' and 'bound' only to be found incarcerated in a prison called Facebook & Instagram

Do you see?
The terrorists, they're out today.
It's ironic

At times like this you'd want to pray
But bombs blew the mosques and churches up yesterday

"When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die"-Isaac Harmony

Meanwhile, the leader's talk sells the youth away...
Stuttering and mumbling for National & International news to replay
And the rest of the world watching as Nigeria decays day by day
Both the unwise and the foolish go to Churches and Mosques, but what do they say?

Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen!
Amin, amin, amin, amin, amin!
